Yes, I have a Qul! I promise to take good care of him and walk him every day and feed him and give him baths... haha j/k BTW lol @ ChrisVicker's clan name

I think it means it does 150 damage to up to 20 targets around it, otherwise it would be far overpowered. Considering level six doesn't come until large fleets are in the game typically, it's still incredibly useful combat-wise.
Aye Aye, El Capitan. [e digicons][/e]
I would join.......but I absolutely suck And I mean it lol. I think I can only beat a easy/normal ai.
Well that's half of this clan's purpose, is to help practice and get better. Read top: "This the Ildiran Empire Clan an any player friendly clan, so anyone can join." That's the very first line. [e digicons]^_^[/e] So you could join, you don't have to compete right off the bat if you don't want to.
Well I downloaded the zip file, extracted the documents and placed them in the correct folder, activated the mod and nothing happened. I downloaded it again just to be sure, and it didn't help. I was really excited to try it out too... [e digicons]:'([/e]
First setup one game as practise to warm up against some hard ai, then vs on a 2v2 type map against some [UO] if you can or other random people.
Haha I've spent the last couple of days just playing games and practicing, so I think I can manage that. [e digicons][/e]
There's a game that people seem to overlook called Phantasy Star Universe that I really like. There's no PVP, but the character design, the weapons and the battle system are intuitive enough that it feels new every time you play it. The people on the game are really nice people too. Think of it as the inverse of EVE.
Infernal_Creator I want you to organize some online games this friday saturday, I may not be online this weekend. Oh also ignore siddy and we will be well on our way laughing till we cry.
Haha can do to both. Mind giving some more specifics about those games though?
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can't select the pirate race! I'm running 1.12 and do NOT have Entrenchment installed.
What are people's problems.... Anyways, I'm not sure if I want to join IE, mostly based on the fear that the clan will die soon anyway. How active do you plan to be? How often online?
Well we're pretty new but we're already looking into doing a 3v3 ladder, so it's safe to assume that we'll be pretty active. We just need more members at this point. Oh, and I have no clue what probl
Edit: post gone. I didn't like it.
if it werent for asking questions or expressing opinions you'd be pretty damned dumb bye now
There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots. [e digicons]:P[/e] Silly comments aside, I don't quite follow for two reasons: One, why are you complaining already? The finished Entrenchment isn't even out yet, so modding to it right now would be useless, because god knows
I don't care what you say cataclysm advent do have best defenses mostly because of thier turrets having shields and mitigation. That really adds to the annoyingness of their units expecially with thier repair bays assisting a full shield mitigationo turret. That always sucks. I do have to agree the phase missles are good but lack of a good repair bay causes it to be expensive and hard to defend without a pretty good income on a decent sized map
Advent - (this is the race that benefits most from caps imo) the radience is most likely the best 2'nd cap -- the goal is to get the holy trinity up
I know I'm probably going to get flamed by Siddy, but what three ships comprise the holy trinity?
infernal creator, sorry if i'm being mean to anyone else, but i think you by far had the best reply to the initial post in terms of what i thought this post needed. As i've said time and tme again i really hope this gets stickied because i get tired of having to wait hours playing each race just to figure out what race i'd be best with in terms of strategy. It really helps to be given a push in the right direction. That and that
Sorry if I give a stupid reply. But my experience with vasari tells me their the ones most likely best able too survive with just a few planets cause they can have a vast income without planets by remaining the masters over the: junks, astroid belts, etc etc. I have won games with only three planets that where mine... Yet I had the best economy. I don't seem too have problem with a growing appetite but maybe I'm wrong.<
The way that I see it is that the Advent really are the balance between the two races. The TEC have numbers, the Vasari have power, and the Advent meet right in between, along with their ability to survive. If an Advent fleet goes down, it goes down kicking and screaming. *Phew* But that's what I love about them! And if youre into static defenses, (like me, don't underestimate them) they're top-notch with their hangers The Vasari, inversely, are all about their fleets.
I really agree with brad207. That's actually what I envisioned from the beginning (I don't have the beta, so I can't tell exactly) but the ideas he posed really make sense.
2. Entrenchment. This adds features that should have been added to Sins IN A PATCH! If defenses are so damn bad you can raid the enemy's homeworld 5 planets behind the front lines, then that is something you should definitely look at fixing with a patch, not a $9.99 "micro-expansion". If defenses are that useless, fix them! Just don't make us pay $9.99 to fix a game dynamic that shouldn't have been broken in the first place.&n
I really hope this is awesome, from your description of it it seems like it will be though. [e digicons]\o/[/e]
But the TEC are quite fun to play as I found. Their ships look quite cool, and you get a nice challenge from playing with them.
Isn't the idea that you play with a race that fits well with you, not one that's challenging to wield?
Yeah, simple as that. I get "Disconnected from server" every time I try to log in. It was working earlier today...
Hahaha four heatsinks? Good luck, I hope it works! ^^ Well in that case, I'll test him out as a Tal and send you the link when I upload the video. I'm sorry that Vance and Chris just kind of cut out. Well, we'll fill the positions in! [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Hey, nice to meet you. ^^ I know we're still taking in members, so don't worry about that. To Adar Zan'nh: What's the situation with the other Tals? If the other two spots are still taken and if Sherman passes I could take him in as a Qul, unless ChrisVicers has just disappeared. And if you're too busy I could play against Sherman and upload the recording for you to view, unless your ideal is that you're playing against them. [IE]Tal Gendron'nh
I could go into the details, but basically I'm an Advent because I stay the most consistant with them through the whole game. Beginning I am up and running quickly, endgame I still have the ability to create powerful fleets. In between, good balance. Important thing to remember when choosing a race though is that there is no wrong decision. There are people rallied behind every one, and each is good in its own way. The trick is harnessing it.
