And the efficiency pack requires you to download the 1.00 mod and then place its files over top the original mod folders. Don't forget that. As for the Kols, it's nice and good thinking they work out that well, but history and game mechanics don't speak to that. And you can never really be sure what you'll run into. Okay, let's assume we go pure cap. Not a good idea except against an okay AI. If we do it though, I look at it this way. I have about 3 fleets,

If it makes you feel any better, Ryat, some of the graphics I threw you guys last didn't get the alphas tweaked properly and so I've been shifting them around so that the icons look right. One day I might even share it with you all. ;P

Ignore the Pride of Hiigara and the vessels alongside it. The Pride was derived from the original Mothership, which did at the time fit the overall forces much better. The second game took a very different approach to Hiigaran design, some of which I am not at all impressed with. You can check out them all (including the mid game, Cataclysm) here .

Not originally saying anything was taken directly from Homeworld, but I was thinking more along the lines of influence. For example, take the vertical model and flip it on its side, comparing the geometry to that of the Vaygr Battlecruiser. I'm sure you can see some parallels in the overall shape, though the details, function, etc. are different. And the vertical flight is far from original with Homeworld (see Boba Fett's ship in Star Wars), but the Mothership from the first game prob
