Yup. 9 hard ai will lag out the map but not to an unplayable degree it seems. I set up my max cap fleet and support ships with lots of repair stations and warp inhibitors at a choke point one jump from the capitol planet then then went to bed. Next morning the entire map was fully developed by the ai and fierce fighting was happening all over the place. I had lost a cap ship and most of the support fleet but the line had held. Ahh this is why I asked if that large a number of suns and planets would eventually lag out the game engine. However I have played a full game on it with 3 hard opponents and it was smooth to the end. Granted I only developed a couple of suns worth of planets and then went all Mordor on the rest of the map and wiped them clean. I would like to make a random super huge map that has at least 30 suns but only a max of ten planets per sun in a set configuration of 3 terran, 3 desert, 3 volcanic and 1 ice with an additional 5 random systems like asteroid belts and such. Is this possible to do with the Galaxy Forge and if made will it be playable on a C2D E6750 with 2 gigs and an ATI X1950? /me is a Sins fanatic! :CONGRAT:
