That's basically the plan: make it realistic. Everything at ground zero is vaporized, massive damage to any nearby units, and fallout to everyhing nearby that stays for a long time. Anti missle tech will be included, and using nuke will cut homeland support drastically while allowing your enemy to strike back with impunity. This would be somewhat realistic and restrict the use of nuclear weapons to last ditch efforts or when you are at a massive advantage. Samurye. [e d

Inside was a note explaining that the technologies onboard were capable of stopping all forms of Self healing by Nano based or Organic based ships. Along with that were additional packets of data related to the Supership "Eclipse" currently in use by the Illdrians. Within are the technical specification

How about a 35 unit per faction limit? that would leave us with 140 units. Scoutdog, that story will do for now. Samurye. [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]

Anyway, the fact that everyone is a soldier does not mean that all of them can fight. A fairly large portion of the population has to stay away from fighting to supply the troops. If half of the country went off to war, they would not last very long. As for taking over the U.S. in no time... I am farily sure that it would take a while, as even if

The way i envisioned the campaign didn't involved any unit production at all. each side would have a preset amount of each unit, and more would not be forthcomming. Some times heavy tanks are only slightly larger than infantry, and infanry are often the size of trees. I haven't played many newer RTS but in the old ones it was pretty common. look at Age of empires 1 and 2. a single ship produced at the docks was almost as large as the entire b

I also want to keep the "Building" of structures to a minimum. Only really small and simple buildings can be built. like ammo dumps, supply depots, transport pays, trenches and such. IF you think about it in real life tearms, anything that can be build within 1 day. IT doesn't really make alot of sense that in the middle of an offensive in

First off, i have played 2 games that had air craft in them, and both of them were annoying as hell. it was a micromanaging nighmare to control just a few planes while the zipped across my screen. it took everything i had just to get them to not fly directly over SAM sites and to get them to the target. and to get that far with them i had to ignore every other aspect of my army, and i was only usin

I know that the story dosen't make much sense. I've been thinking about this game for quite a while, and that was a very early prototype story. I found it and put it up here. I haden't done any resarch, hadn't put any thought into the plausibility of the story, I'd simply written it. It wasn't meant to be the actual storyline, just an example to get creativity flowing.
