I would not really call the old political parties and government
Sure thing. I am hoping Stardock has something more sophisticated in their pockets, like "factions in your kingdom" from CK2 / EU4. I.e. different factions in your empire pursuing different goals and you have to take them into account. Remember, every great empire had to deal with internal dissent as much as with its external enemi
Simple example of the Dungeon Master punishing me for being a total jerk in the game.
There were rumors of cities rebelling when sovereign behaves cowardly. Can we see a proof of that? :)

Much appreciated, Frogboy! I like the first screenshot, because for the game to believable, the world needs to look much more desolated. Second think I like are the hints that there are other advanced buildings coming, adding another layer to the city management. Still unsure about the lack of queue, though. Add to that lack of any "repeat build" and rally points - this could get ugly with the larger maps, with folks just clicking between their cities... And finally, more
Will cities have unrest or some kind of mechanic to illustrate the effectiveness of cities.
I am not fan of unrest or level-up buildings coming back. I do think, however, that the cities need SOME level of specialization, be it unique buildings, exclusive building paths or wonders. I am thinking about large maps with tens of cities? All of them the same? No strategic choice how to build them? [e digicons]<_<[/e]

What´s in store for city management? Current system is too streamlined and offers no specialization or REAL choices. Are you thinking about some building paths, exclusive buildings, wonders etc.? In bigger maps, the city building will get very tedious (all cities the same) and will ultimately lead to dreaded "build everything everywhere" strategy.

Frogboy, so after all, how will the minor factions work? I thought once you become allies, they will be assimilated into your empire, but apparently, this is not the case. So they will be still around on their own and you can ask them for support - how and how often? Based on some sort of "approval"? Also, earlier you said you will contact minors via some special unit called ambassador. Now its about distinctive quest lines. So how this will work? Distinctive quest lines that

Sooo, after playing for about 10 hours (two games), I have to say its an amazing game! For us, strategy players bored with classical 4X concept, this is really promising! I have to honestly say that I principally like most of the features as they are, or I can´t judge them properly because of apparently missing content (the minors). But there
Just put a PDF of the walkthrough.
Frogboy, quick question: I have noticed one of the resources visible in earlier screenshots (second from right) disappeared. Is that some feature we shall get our hands on later? :)
Yea. You'll get Steam keys mailed to you just prior to it going public.
K, so the only question then is at what time? Hope it's not some late evening pacific time :)
