Oh god I'm so excited I've been re-watching the Final Chapter of DS9. So excited to begin the Dominion War II I have a question though, due to my poor memory. The Dominion are going the be in this release, correct? Cause I've realized, I fuckin love the Breen, and I'm really loving the Dominion lately. I'm excited to spread 'peace and prosperity' throughout the Alpha Quadrant :) Also, I saw a ship in OS that is misnamed. I

If you look here , there's a picture of an Oberth firing its forward phaser at the Battle of Sector 001 But to be honest, I don't think canon should really be worried about in filling the diplomatic ship role, cause that could present a problem Let's not forget, Starfleet wasn't necessarily the primary body used for diplomacy. Of course, we see them do this in the show because, well, the sho

I always thought of the Praetor as more of the head of the Senate + some strong executive characteristics He presides over the Senate and the Continuing Comittee. The Senate is basically an oligarchy with the Praetor leading it and I assume acting as commander-in-cheif, since "the Praetor's power is in the Romulan Fleet" (or something to that effect) I think this is basically what Memory Alpha says too And, if I remember correctly, the Romulans (at

I love the look of that Romulans starbase. I like to imagine a Romulan promenade (DS9-esque) Also, as for Chang, I think his tactis fit who he is. It was a very dishonerable way to fight, but he was such a dishonorable Klingon. He colluded with rouge Romulan and Starfleet officers to assassinate the Chancellor he is supposed to serve! He betrayed the Empire, and serving the Empire is the ultimate duty of a Klingon soldier He might have lo
Quoting cperceful, reply 1323I was just thinking along those lines Maybe the D'Deridex could have the ability to self destruc its artificial singularity drive once down to a certain amount of health, causing a shockwave that will cause some damage. If I could mod, I would play around with this myselft, but alas, I'm not hehe all i am going to say is that we have something already in development for a rommie ca

I don't think voting is the answer. The mod team listens to the community, but the decision is theirs at the end. They make the game, ensure it works/is balanced, and put in lots of man hours. All a democratic system would do is force them to put in whatever the prevailing winds dictate, possibly at the expense of quality I'm just glad that the team is making such a fantastic mod. They know what they're doing, and I trust them to balance gameplay/canon
The Defiant class doesn't even have the reactor to power most abilities anyway. The ship has a tiny reactor compared to other Capital Ships.
The Defiant does not have a small/low powered reactor. Quite the contrary, it's massively powered, and it's been explicitly stated in the show. They specifically said that she has the power of a ship several times larger.

Guys, I'm pretty sure the starbases are a work in progress, and they get the fact that the balancing isn't perfect. It's an ongoing process, and saying the same thing over and over accomplishes nothing If you really want to do something about it, I'd suggest playing around with the values yourself and submitting it to the contributions email
we're really past the hard part, its just adding the entity files and rebalancing from 3c. Klingons and Federation played the most important part, setup and operation. it won't be long until we have all the races in and can just concentrate on updating models, etc which will be 4E.
Wow, that's awesome! You guys are fantastic
