i have to say, though, sometimes you read a post that is just so sensibility-insulting, mind-numbingly stupid, all you can do is swear at it and hope it will go away =P
i actually read a forum like that once. https://forums.stardock.com/362569 it was quite humorous
5. The constant referals to god. The phrase "In god we thrust"(Said by the president
Why are blatantly idiotic threads like this even allowed?
because people, like you, are really really dumb. humor me for a minute, and read a story i have. it is pertinent, so bear with me. this summer, i was part of a student travel group in europe. for part of the trip, i was rooming with two other guys. one was a moderate conservative, and one was an extreme liberal. the discussion got around to politics, and th
Stupid stupid stupid, a much better question would be to compare the US to qatar, UAE etc. who have a higher emission rate per capita than the US, rather than the India and China whose emission rates are a fraction of the US's per capita emissions. The only fair and reasonable way to look at emissions is a per capita basis, otherwise its jsut racism.
please read my post. simple economics and human decency dictate say that we cannot dictate other countries' emissions, es

muslims dont hate america as much as we think. the average muslim just doesnt make all that much noise. its the radical fundamentalist muslims (who make up the terrorist groups) that hate america, and they are the ones we hear from the most. yes, there are legitimate differences in policy between muslim countries and america (most notably the israel/palestine situation) but they dont hate us. and the pollution thing is interesting, actually. certainly, we should be doing much mor

ok i get it now. 1) i have never played that game. in fact, i have played very few games in my time. battlefront and battlefront 2 on ps2, a bunch of sports games, star wars: empire at war and its expansion, forces of corruption, republic commando, supreme commander, and cod4. my question, which will get very few takers i would imagine, this being a forum for a science fiction game In my lengthy experience as a sports gamer, i have found that the 2005 year o

since most of us don't like researchable caps, perhaps we could have researchable upgrades. like, 50% increase in health for the battleship, 4 extra squadrons for the carrier, etc. thus you can have the basic caps, which would remain the same, and upgraded, which would have some of the suggestions made by raging amish and deceiver
I had the impression that something had gone wrong with the ship, and thus they couldn't get out, exhausted supplies, and started to die. But perhaps I misheard.Yes, they had some sort of computer-based technical problem that shut down pretty much everything onboard. I think that it happened after they arrived here, for no real reason except for the fact that the ship seems unable to move until the problem is remedied, but it could easily ha
i'm reasonably sure that sins was pretty low cost, since was developed by a pretty small company, and i would think that any sequel would follow in the same pattern. besides, the economy is turning! Reading that blurb gives me the impression that not only will the third micro expansion not come out, but that also SoaSE 2 will never find it's way onto our PC's. Perhaps I'm reading a little too much into it? I don't know - "c
Something I just realized about the Akkan's Colonize - the free extractors it gives do NOTHING for Dead Asteroids, while both Progenitor (reduced cost) and Egg (faster build) do. Since TEC are the only ones who could build civics structures at DAs, the lowered cost of civics structures would make sense, now that I think about it. If one combined this with the Modular Architecture upgrade, then if a 60% reduction at level
I have an idea about a solution to fix the Akkan... When it colonizes planets, it gives 1/2/2 extractors at levels 1/2/3, respectively. However, at each progressing level, the cost of building civics structures is reduced by, say 20%/30%/40% for the next 4/8/12 minutes (240/480/720 seconds) at those levels, as well. Alternatively, one could just have the civics reduction cost and call it good, but this is just

i think it sounds like a good idea. it would give the marauder slightly more usefulness, and it doesnt seem to give any advantage early game, so its pretty balanced in and of itself. it only saves some money for the vasari late game
