Manifests are the new files that come with entrenchment, however for some reason they don't provide you with these new additions when you download the Forge Tools 3 kit. They appear as obscure looking files in your entrenchment sub folder - located in your installation folder for the game. There are 6 of them in total and editing them is quite straightforward. You just need to right click on the "Galaxy.Manifest" file that you stated above, then select notepad to open the fil

I was going to get Entrenchment upon it's final release next week, but this would be awesome news if you did decide to go down that route. It sounds like everyone is having a better time with the add-on for the very reasons you've explained and more and I can't wait to get my hands on the complete edition having not played with the beta's. It's disguised as the entity file " BuffAbilityDestruction ", right underneath the BORG entities. Only found this out by looking at the GameScenarioDef entity and seeing it listed along with all the other ships for the Pirate Base. I was looking for the same files as you before I looked there. I guess it was a good way for Stress to initially hide this surprise from us [e digicons]^_^[/e] in the earlier updates.
