advent strategy is generally outlasting other fleets. you can have a comparatively small armada, and take out a army twice the size of yours. the trick is to know their synergies. the battleball is a good defensive synergy (guardians with illums and progen) along with your trinity (progen, radiance, and rapture or halcyon). Basically the good way to go about starting a game with advent is: 1. ALWAYS get the Progen as first cap (one of the best caps in the

Notes: The Krenim temporal weapon ship was built at the height of the Krenim Imperium over two hundred years ago. This ship is impervious to any conventional weapons as it is phased out of normal time-space, the ship is also protected from changes in the timeline and th

Hey everyone, I just purchased Sword of the Stars - Argos Naval Yard and once I installed it, it says that I was missing a dll file. So I uninstalled and tried to install again, but I cannot because of an error that says it cannot locate the basic application. Does anyone know what to do? thanks, dresda

i've never done a scout rush before so my logic maybe flawed, but.... it sounds like you are using the very tactic that you don't like...the massing of LRFs, except you are massing scouts. for the sake of a counter argument, maybe scouts do need to be nerfed, if you are going to use them for that purpose. scouts are ment for scouting. they are very fast ships so they can get in and out of enemy territoy quicker. if they were buffed at all like yo

those folders you are looking for are hidden, so you'll have to select unhide files. not sure how to do it in a mac though, but you have to unhide your folders

oh sorry misread your question you can't really get rid of mines other than going through or around them AFAIK. it would be nice though to be able to disable mines with scouts or something. also, refineries are good, but don't build them everywhere!!!! to many refineries won't change your income much. don't do more than 2 per planet. i believe if i'm not mistaken each extractor can only handle 2 refineries.

just build SCs on the starbase instead of having flak turrets as for nerfing the vasari starbase, didn't you just say that starbases cannot take out bombers? how did the vasrari starbase take out bombers? anyways, the vasari starbase fully upgraded is supposed to be able to take about another starbase, and plus it already costs a ton of credits. no nerf needed.

i don't think that the graphics mods work with 1.17, but don't quote me on it. you should really get entrenchment though, it's only 10 bucks and there are a lot more options for mods as well.

ok now i understand your first question. you never can tell with the AI. they seem to do weird stuff sometimes. idk and no you won't have to realearn the entity files cuz they are the same. and Kol isn't the only way to counter fighter and bomber spam from advent, use flack and and bombers to counter them.

-they are retardedly overpowered, you need a whole fleet to kill one and in the process you'll lose most of your fleet my answer: use bombers and anti structures frigates to hit from far away (TEC missiles, and Advent starfish) -you can build them in enemy systems easily, for example I sent 1 to my opponent's homeworld and the 2 neighboring systems and he had to retreat to deal with them my answer: if you defend your planets correctly, it's tough to get

first quesiton: still not understanding what you are asking second question: the ai doens't know what abilities you have on your marzas, so it probably picked the one closer to it third question: entrenchment is definately worth it. it's very balanced.
