where would i find the gameinfo files? and what file format would they be under? (.gameinfo files or something else?) sorry im a beginner in this type of stuff.

im not sure where to begin, i want to do a mod wich modifies ship stats and the number of guns it has/fires, the price of them and everything, im not sure what to do here, lol. where, what, and how do you modify ship stats?
