OMG I'm a genious I found another!

No way! I found one two!
Honestly, they sound depressed. Xanax to the rescue!
What should be done is make all the ships (or at least make that option available in fleet tab) stick to formation (whether it slows them down or not).
I'm not sure if anyone else remembers this and perhaps if it dates me but, if you remember the original C&C Red Alert, you could use a fleet-move function to cause all units to travel at the same speed. The problem was is that if you group very quick transports with slow-as-tar ba
Likewise, agreed. I'd love a viable 'King of the Hill' mode, but Occupation just isn't it. It tries, but it needs maps more structured for the victory condition to make it interesting.
The descriptions provided are so vague, a constellation map would be enough for me. no additional detail needed. No need to overlap the star maps as it doesn't make much of a difference.
I dub thee hence forth to be known as "Jeff the Vague." You may now rise. :P I'll poke around and see what I can find.
I use iTunes religiously. My only hangup is that you have to correct most ID3 tagging and embed album artwork before you can import the files into iTunes. One perk among many is almost all 1.27 TB of my library is lossless which itunes will down convert to 128 AAC for my iPhone when synced. Doesn't get better then that.
I do find the current abilities somewhat lackluster. The TEC Rebel Titan feels like an Olive Garden breadstick that gives hellish heartburn and the Loyalists is like playing with a space turtle in it's shell. On the other hand these Titans can plow through almost anything. Giving them another special ability might necessitate a reduction in their strength. then they wouldn't really feel like Titans anymore, rather something more gimmicky. I'm looking forward to the
For the beta you'll have to put the AI at the most difficult setting. But like others said, it's still early. :)
.61 I'd imagine if that's most recent. My game is up to date with steam. *edit* But I'd love a Trinity replay just the same, i have the latest version from steam.
Ooh good call. Does someone have a replay available for download?
Oh gotcha, thanks. Bit of a silly question, I had misunderstood the context. One thing I'm also considering is if I'm choosing the right early techs. From your response Pbhead I'll start holding off on Ice/Volcano research. I suppose Modular Architecture would be good for the 40% reduction in costs that seemingly I'll accrue in the early stages. One thing that I always tend to forget about til later is pop ca
(use the lone colonizer trick, where you build a gauss touching the roid/moon in front of the seige frig)
Is this to say I can build a Gauss turret before colonizing the roid/moon?
An issue I keep running into is early expansion. So far I mostly play every so often against an AI opponent, either in Trinity or Rebellion beta. I'll write this from the perspective of TEC since I've been playing Rebellion. Normally when I start a new game the first thing I put down is a Capitol Ship Factory and usually build a Akkan Battlecruiser. I'll send it to the closest colonizable gravity wells that have the least enemy resistance. I&#
Don't fighter and bombers take care of visible mines reasonably well? I'm not entirely familiar with the process, but I thought I had cleared them with those ship types before.
I like the idea of a more glorious explosion. That's always been one thing lacking in Sins. As for damaging other ships, maybe in a tight radius. I don't think it should be used as some kind of suicide bombing effect. If the owning faction decides on this tactic they could jump to another planet and then jump back to the target, putting the defender at a disadvantage by losing even more structures and ships with little recourse. Rather then massive destruction i'd prefer ther
is it possible to get a Sins RSS? it makes it easier for me since i seldom check many websites for their specific news. I tried adding the general domain, but no dice. :( Thanks.
If not that at least make it more varied, or perhaps if we are building multiples wait for the sound effect until the queue for that ship is done maybe? I hope that options can be provided so its not as drastic as all sound fx on or off only.
Frogboy provided an in-definitive 'couple weeks' in another thread. *shrugs*
Authorizations are normally for the full amount. Otherwise there would be little point. I had an authorization but not a withdrawal from Stardock. *shrugs*
It might be an authorization and not a withdrawal. Common practice now days with credit card/debit transactions. At least with my bank's online statements it will offer a filter between actual withdrawals and authorizations. Perhaps yours might do the same, i hope.
Ah so the Offering price isn't with the market directly but between players. I hadn't picked up on that, thanks for the explanation.
Howdy, In regards to the Black Market offering price, I dont quite understand the reasoning behind offer prices and so forth. I just end up buying resources or selling in a pinch and ignore the rest. How does offering a price effect what others can get? it seem like the amounts of resources to be purchased are unlimited.
I might take you up on this, i sent a steam invite. I've love to get a better hang on this game. I'm in the process of moving to a new condo so my time is kinda limited but I could still get some gaming in.
