SSD's are mainly used for OS drive since it is not really worth your money to put all your data on SSD's A 32 GB is only around $100 these days http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220341 And then get two 1TB's in raid for the rest of your data and you are good to go =)
The solid state drive combined with a 64-bit OS with lots of memory will beat out process

There is nothing preventing 2.5in drives from being used in desktops. But yess, 3.5in ones exist. Here is a picture with one http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-performance-power,2279.html The read rates on SSD's will blow away traditional hard drive, but most of the time, their write rate are not impressive. On the other hand, most of the time, SSD's are used f
Ok, so i learned today that clan wars has favor items disabled.
LOL. I think thats silly tbo. Clans don't like unpredictibility, I really think thats the truth. Who cares if "assasin" items are better than "general" items? The standard items (open to both sides) are plenty good imo.
First of all i totally disagree with you to BUFF the minions.
- Say hi, when you enter a game and generally be polite. I've seen plenty of people join the game, click ready and the next you can hear from them - and the first line is - RDY UP, GOGOGO. I always have to resist the urge to just kick these players. First: greeting the others is the most basic act that any kind of good manners would require. Second: writing all caps makes you look incredibly stupid, so better turn off the caps lock before they think you wrote it
Oh, let's also get to mentioning. Sure, Nvidia is indeed the performance king, but let's not forget that Nvidia's cards are massive comparatively to ATI, and use far more power.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-geforce-price,2323-5.html I can't find the original article, but they refer to it "Nvidia's GeForce GTX 295 with SLI-on-a-card is the most powerful single graphics card on the planet. With two attached GeForce GTX 275 cards that have bee

Hi Fergle, welcome to the forums. First question is have you played DOTA. If you have, you will have no issues with Demigod. If not, worry not. The game has no tutorials, but if you just play the single player pantheon on normal, you will get the gist of it.
Nvidia has the best card on the market right now, but the 4870x2 is $150 cheaper for a not very noticable difference. Crossfire works better then SLI (you can crossfire different cards, you can't with SLI.. and it seems to scale better as well, see: 4870 crossfire vs gtx 285 SLI)
I never said they weren't making money, I said they haven't had the fastest card ever since the 9700 Pro. As far as I can tell, Crossfire and SLI both scale terrible with the exception of a few
no. please go do some research on PSUs and how they operate before you give advice. the power rating has nothing to do with x capacity due to heat. a 500w PSU will put out 500W however most power supply companies rate the PSU wattage at PEAK power which is the max amount of power it will put out. some companies like PC Power & Cooling rate PSU at CONTINUOUS power (the amount of power used in normal operation) you will hit peak power depending on the system config and wh

Starkers > Most of what you said is true. I posted the benchmarks for the 34%, feel free to go look at em. I am not sure what you refer to when you say AMD is more budget than Intel, they have plenty decent processors for cheap. As a previous poster mentioned, there is no way in a sane person can you call any quad core budget. Dual cores are the standard these days and the Intel E1400 is a great example. It is 2GHz wich is decent, but can easily be overclocked to 2.4 or 2.8

si1foo > Spend as long as it needs so reading your posts no longer become a chore. Lack of capitalization and punctuation make it especially difficult. Again, as I mentioned earlier, the lack of care in the posts show that you are not interested in the topic at hand. If your game design course is more important, then focus on that and come post when you have more spare time =)
DOOD! Learn to read. Vividgear is not saying that Regulus's abilities are OP. In fact, he's explicitly saying that they are balanced, not OP. He says it twice:
DOOD! I do read, lol. Read the following passage and tell me it does not say "Snipe is OP, needs to be nerfed" without using the words OP or nerf, because thats pretty much that it says.
My Phenom II is amazing for the price.
Not to be an jerk, but the Phenom II just slighty beats out a Q6600... thats like a 2 year old processor on 65mn tech... AMD sure knows their stuff... Let me clarify why I am such an Intel fan I study processor design and Intel really pushes the bountry on new processes and technology. They have designs that work really well and they know their stuff. AMD has been going downward ever since Athlon 64. Example

Early game, on a large map like leviathan, you let them take the side spawners and farm both lanes, this way you aren't stealing from your allies. Or if you need to go back to store or something, you can still farm your lane. Now again, this is from the perspective of a Pantheon player where palying 2v2 on Levathan is not uncommon. I
