Edited my post to make it a bit easier to read. Sorry if it looked like a huge mish-mash of text... [e digicons]^_^'[/e] On another note, some of these ideas seem really intriguing - I wonder what the devs think of 'em.

I think a new Capital Ship would be in order for this idea of Onslaught... Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Battle Stars! These titans of space battle are meant to be the be-all and end-all of capital ships. Each Battle Star is essentially a pint-sized Starbase, but can't upgrade to the extent that Starbases can. Battle Stars also have their own abilities. However, Battle Stars are so powerful, and so prohibitively expensive that Empires can only fi
Well, yeah, you can counter them with colony frigates. Is that ever going to happen? Not really. Would like to see them off of light armor, though I agree that heavy doesn't quite work. Very-heavy? [e digicons]:fox:[/e]
Either this or Heavy. If Very Heavy, then it WOULD force defenders to choose between bombers and fighters.

I do rather like the idea of switching Adjudicator and Ogrov Armor to Heavy - for one thing, it makes sense, seeing how they're CRUISERS, not frigates, so the armor would be justified. Two, who says that a little variety is a bad thing? Just means that "lol I mass fighterz I win" is no longer a suitable tactic. Third... Well, I'd tell you number three, but then I'd have to kill you - it's something of a little insight I made myself. [e digicons]*_*[/e]

Say, Volt, what if he cut RC's values in half on all values? Would that make it no longer OP? I will say, though, that PS is probably fine as-is - I don't have much issues with it as it stands, personally, so I don't think it needs a buff.

@ Volt: The reason you don't see more than 5 targets on my list is because that is the targeting cap. The starfish cannot target more than 5 structures at any time. @Electron: An armor change might be a good idea - I'm not sure what would be a good armor type, but Medium or Heavy sound like attractive choices. Wait, Heavy? ...hmmmm... [e digicons]*_*[/e] @ Kharma: Adjudicators DEFINITELY need a supply reduction - they cost almost as much as Aerias supply

To the adjudicator, I once again bring up my suggestion from the last time: 5 targets: Each cannon attacks 1 structure each. 4 targets: 3 cannons attack 1 target each, the last two attack the remaining target. 3 targets: 2 pairs of cannons attack 1 target each, the remaining cannon attacks its own. 2 targets: 3 cannons attack one structure while 2 attack the other. 1 target: All 5 cannons focus on the target. Granted, this may be a bit code-heavy, but it's

Grey, after playing with an orky last night, I'm gonna have to throw out your statement. I sent a FULLY (repeat, FULLY ) upgraded Orky into a cloud of about 10-15 structures owned by the computer (TEC), and it had virtually ALL guns firing on everything - it took around 20+ volleys from the disints to kill ANYTHING. A group of 10 Ogrovs? One attack, and it's dead. Again, I push for a 50% damage increase on Disints.</p
Deceiver's post above QFT. Orky - can - move. Other - SB -can't. IMO it is reason of relatively weaker offence capabilities of Orky. You pay % of firepower and armor for ability to relocate your SB if needed. Of course in direct combat 5up Orky will die to 5Up Transcendentia or Argonev... but none of them is able to move. You got it wrong Arthanis: Orky - can - move
Does anyone think it would be to much to ask to update RA and Insurgency for entrenchment. Maybe get an ogrov every now in then in the rebel forces, or maybe receive a migrator or ruiner once in while from RA. I know its not much of an issue, but I feel like those two abilities are kinda stuck in Vanilla sins.
I dunno if it's NECESSARY, per se, but I wouldn't mind the changes, to be sure. I'd consider it if the topic came
Maybe the illum nerf will change that dynamic a bit cuz in practice, massive illuminator fleets that quickly double in size with illusions have the easiest time taking down my fully upped Orkies, because the fake illuminators make losses negligible. Well, according to a topic somewhere else (forget which one), the PGs of the Orky are Anti-Heavy (Good only against some cruisers), the Disintegrators are anti-modular (the anti-structure damage), and PMBS are Capital-Ship Damage (fairly decent all around, though there are areas where it sucks). So, again, I vote for PGs being Composite damage. Again, glad I'm not the only one who's imagining things with my prized Orkies. [e digicons][/e]

Thoughts on Magnetize: Strikecraft Affected: I like the new strikecraft affected counts. APPROVED Cost Decrease: As Ryat says, Dunov has no issues with AM. REJECTED Damage Increase: It might not be too huge of a jump - in the end, it works out to +60/+90/+120 damge possible (factoring in the strikecraft affected boost; otherwise it'

I support the Composite Damage type for Pulse Guns, if they aren't already. If they are, never mind. I'm all for the 1.5x Disintegrator DPS, though. Unless it gets upgraded by SOMETHING (see my Pulse Beam argument from earlier), it's a bit "meh"-ish for its anti-structure role as it stands. Not sure what to do with the Phase Missile Batteries, though.

Apparently, ducking was probably the better choice... [e digicons]^_^'[/e] As I stated, Deciever, it was just an idea - I know it's crazy-powerful, but I was merely tossing the idea out for a discussion. Although, it does make me wonder...I seldom put DV on my Orkies (only one around my "Homeworld Star"); does anyone else use this ability?
