Their only saving grace is the +25% damage boost they give friendly ships in the well.
I have to agree with Mr. Haze. I almost cried when the Entrenchment Trailer music wasn't made into the main menu theme (or even included in any of the game files). With any luck they might include it as Vasari music... But I'm too hopeful
It would have made great battle music. Which makes sense, given that the Entrenchment trailer was just Starbases blowing everything up, and it just wouldn't sound the s

I'm not sure I understood Redtide's logic. He was saying that if you take a Saviour and use it for it's intended utility (starbase construction,) you shouldn't get it back because it's expensive and you already used it. So if I take let's say, a Guardian, quite an expensive cruiser, into combat, and use it for it's intended utility (abilities, perhaps even sacrificing to feed the Eradica,) does that mean I shouldn't get it back if/when it's

The Loyalists are the ones that leave planets behind, Rebels will still need them. Additionally, if I'm not mistaken, the Orkulus can only jump to phase stabilizer nodes (I saw something about that on the forums) and you can still only have 1 per well. Still though, you're right, phase jumping Orkies is terrifying.

Advent Loyalist culture spreads faster and they get a crapton more buffs when they're fighting in said culture. I think the total buffs are something like +10% Shield Mitigation(More?), +20% Phase Missile Block, +25% Damage. Throw in a deliverence engine shot on the planet you're fighting at and you get another +25% Damage.
Capital abilities ??? What ??? -so some have 4 abilities with 3 points each making players have to choose?!!! Damn that's just harsh. Good thing 7DS didn't do that with a couple of capitals. Titans... wow, same thing... too bad, deal with it. Starbases -modders can increase number of upgrades
I think the point he was making here is that previously you had 3 abilities that we

Its one of the Advent unique pieces, don't remember which subfaction. The several minute trailer that is now the intro cinematic sounds like a mix of several of the new tracks.
Advent Loyalists - Fate of the Apostate I'd have liked the piece from the

Yes well, I find it more amusing to watch 40 man pirate fleets get blown up in less than a minute, but that's me.

Why have you not built beam turrets with synergy then? Hangars aren't designed to be getting hit in the face, this should be common sense. I have yet to see a pirate force that can defeat a web of beam turrets, 3 repair platforms, 2 hangars and a Trancencia with Disorientate and Meteor Strike.

I'm not in favour of making them come later, either, and I want them to stay as an LRF counter, however right now they're just too overwhelming and there's no risk involved in Corvette rushing. "I do think they need a nerf, but just because they are no overpowered does not mean they don't need a nerf." I have no idea what you're saying there.
Corvettes are not really that overpowered, it just comes down to who macro's more thats the problem.
As someone who is a huge fan of early game cheesing like I feel Corvette rushing is, I entirely disagree with you. There's little to no risk to Corvette rushing and huge reward if you pull it off, which isn't exactly difficult to do.

1. As long as the research is queued, you can queue something to build/upgrade, but it won't actually start until the research is done. What's odd, however, is the Starbase not ignoring the upgrade it can't begin and working on the others first. As for losing the planet to culture, yes, intended, Auxilliary Government stops you losing the planet to bombardment, not culture. 2. Bug 3. Was it an Advent player and if so, were you blowing up their Trade Drones?
