True. I was just thinking of resurrecting my old habit of Kol exclusivity during my last game, but i just can't seem to make myself push any button but sova or akkan for my first 2 capitols...
banned for asking questions none of us want the answer to.
Itharus, you sound like my kind of player. I'll look for you online. What time do you usually play?
Personally, i think it's a hybrid missile/railgun round. Watch the weapon when it fires and you'll see why.
Maybe drop it a little for hangars, not 25%, but 10-15% maybe. but turrets seem perfectly fair as they are.
Question: Do Guardians still soak damage when the ship they're protecting loses shields?
He was using pretty much all fighters from what i saw. I think he most likely knew about the bug, so shame on him, but whatever. He seemed like he had some expierience, judging from the fact that he knew to build more than 2-3 guardians for his fleet. And this WAS a Vasari vs Advent fight, so i had the low ground to begin with. I'm beginning to understand more what i've got in store for me when i do the Skimisher test...
I'm mostly just baffled because even colony frigates can shoot, and they're even more specialized than the carrier. Same with the Hoko, Cielo, and every other support ship. Crap damage, but damage nonetheless. Anyway, it was just a random thought brought on by my careless placement of them in a neutral grav well vs AI. Learned my lesson, i hope... Still, it would be nice for them to have SOME use in a plasma storm. (Or is it magnetic cloud, whichever ground
Yeah, i agree.[e digicons]:'([/e] 20 Illum + 10 Guardian + 2-5 Defense + 3 Halcyon = my death. (Even had most of the right couners- 8LRF, 8 LF, 4 LC, Jarasul, Skirantra, Vulkoras for 1st engagement/ 8 HC, 2 LC, 20 Scout, 2 Kortul, 1 Skirantra for 2nd. Wiped me out. Built all fighter squads, but so did the other guy. I probably would have lost anyway, but not nearly as quickly.
I never actually had a internet connection until recently, that was my only deterent. Personally, i love ICO now that i can actually play. And i have to admit it is quite a bit more challenging than i thought. (Though my last game was vanilla, Vasari vs Advent, and the other guy spammed Illums/Guardians and 3 Halcyons. That Illum bug has got to go, 20 cracked my Skirantra's shield in about 20 sec.) Overall it was a good game. I did have to surrender
Just though i'd bring this thread back to the top for one last try. Is nobody interested in this or do you just not know what Andromeda is?
like i said, i'm almost always available. I'm on central time (It's 11:58 right now, check the difference on the post time) , so keep that in mind. I do have 1 other rule to concider however: Advent should not be able to build Illums, unless their damage bug has been fixed. I know it wasn't a part of the advent's intended strike, but that must be made a rule to keep it fair, since they get so much of an advantage from it. Also, i'm against the no instant
K. Think i've got it figured out. Do most ICO play Vanilla? Just played two Vanilla games this morning, no problem, but can't find an opponent for entrenchment. Also, screename is CallenExile.
I just got off ICO, TEC vs Advent, and either my opponent got bored or i froze things up. Here's what i know, since he dropped completely out of ICO: 1.) i re-ordered one of my arvovas to try to bull-rush an unidentified world behind his. I tld it to stop its last order while it was phase-jumping, and it stopped rigt where it was between the two planets. 2.) it still showed its phase shroud, but wasn't moving so i tried to scuttle. 3.) a few seco
Not necessarily. I believe if we showed genuine evidence of a design flaw and exactly how to fix it, they'd listen. It's in their best interest afterall to keep their fan base happy. It will just have to be an undisputable flaw AND how to fix it.
I'll let pb choose the time, i'm pretty much always available, but i'm still unable to go ICO, i do need help with that. Screename i assume is something like your Profile Name in Single Player? If so, it's: Sadrekkan 3rd Fleet. If not, i use CallenExile for everything else.
i intend to look into this as deeply as possible. Expect my findings by the end of tomorrow at the latest, probably today.
You killed my argument in the first paragraph, allegiance. You're absolutely right about the TEC being the name for their defensive force, i didn't take that into concideration and i appologize.
Just a suggestion. You're probably right, but since this thread was about possible micro-changes, i thought i'd throw it out there anyway. Like i've said, i have'd expierienced it myself, though i will look for it in future games... Also, i agree as well. Magnetic clouds, while a nuisance, are just another grave well on the map. And if used strategically (When in your enemie's territory or between you) Can be a place to even out a fight, or even turn it i
52500, thank you for remaining civil. as for my analogy, i didn't elaborate enough for it to make any sense and i didn't fully think it through before i put it down. I offer a cease fire.
Also, maybe something could be done about the trade ports. I haven't noticed this 1st hand, but people have been saying they take the shortest route possible. It should be the opposite so you get the greatest benefit, since that's the best logical way for them to work. Longer routes = more money.
No it doesn't. It sounds stupider and LESS dominant. "Hi, this is Admiral Suckface reporting live from getting my ass kicked, for TDN" Civillian naval/shipping operations are called "navies" which are compromised of "fleets" not some news van and a traffic chopper. EDIT: Also they were attacked, thus making a need for a defense force, not a news channel. You refer to a military force with a military name. fact.
</p
how did the fremen get a beachead on a Vasari vs Covenant Thread?[e digicons]o_O[/e]
agreed. There's not an issue here. Just a trend that won't go away.
