To me, it implies that the hint was hidden in one of the game files, or the core code itself. If it was something one could see in-game, they would not have bothered saying it was in the code, they would just have said that hints were in the game. -Huzzah!
Twilight_Storm
Minor? How can you call that monster a minor advantage? -Huzzah!
How do you leverage the Sova against Titans, Twilight Storm? Do you get Percherons and use bomber spam?
I have somewhat of a personal vendetta against bomber spam, myself. And dislike using mass amounts of Fleet on percherons since they are useless once squadrons are killed. I generally use Sovas as more of a shield than an offensive unit in the late-game. Large numbers of fighters, supported with Flak to
It is good if you have scouted and saw that there were Ice/Volcanics nearby. If not your money is likely better spent elsewhere such as new ships or the first fleet upgrade. Yes, it does cause a slight drain on resources, but even in the early game that first one is hardly noticeable. -Huzzah!
Okay, just making sure it wasn't me. Not a massive issue, but it is somewhat annoying. -Huzzah!
Am I the only one who has been having issues with this? Every time I try to send a PM the CAPCHA always says it was typed wrong the first time I try, even when it is painfully obvious what it said...I'd be willing to believe user error were it not every single time in the last 2-3 months... -Huzzah!
"My name is Twi and I am a TEC-Aholic!" And yes, please write out as much as you feel is necessary to get your point across. Especially on the Ankylon and Kol, I absolutely love both ships and would love to hear the reasons others do as well. -Huzzah!
Social Security is not a handout, it is money everyone with a job pays into until they need it, at which time it is (In theory) paid back after retirement. Go troll somewhere else. Or at least put some effort into it. Although, the destruction of civilization as we know it does sound appealing... [e digicons]}:)[/e] Anyway, this isn't the place to discuss such things. Moderators tend to get twitchy when this stuff comes up. -Huzzah!
Some of us need more drugs, not less. [e digicons]:dur:[/e] And the fourth race is coming, even if they only put it in a Sins 2 campaign. (Pwetty Pwees?) Sins is pretty much a precursor to the entire conflict as far as I'm concerned. I don't necessarily want them playable, but I do want to see a fourth race in the game. -Huzzah!
The black hole theory doesn't fit. The planets went dark and the fleet went in to check it out. Jumping that close to a singularity would cause panic, yes, but not break the minds of every last crew-member who survived, and the ship's logs would likely have hinted to it anyway. (Not that we have access to those...) I stand by my theory of rogue nanites, personally. -Huzzah!
No offense, but is it really necessary to have the first three categories? 3 Tiers should be sufficient. At first glance this list looks like an arse kissing slowly turning into a legit list, then mutating a troll on the lower "Tiers" that are set up. 3 Tiers of pros would be sufficient to see who's who, since anyone good enough to be on this list needs to be adaptable anyway or risk being a one-trick-pony. -Huzzah!
How do you go about self-publishing? I've always wanted to try it out. (You know, if I ever actually FINISH one of the 30+ attempts I've started...) -Huzzah!
Banned for holding it in. -Huzzah!
I should have known you'd latch onto that sentence... [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] My point was to try to find the synergies the devs had in mind. It may be that they had an entirely different purpose in mind for the Ankylon. That's why it's part of a different faction. Rebellion is all about switching up the play style of each race. The bottom line is that it feels like everybody wants the new stuff from Rebellion, but they don't want it to be th
It really does look like he was trying to find a way to crash a game before he loses, but the possibility does exist that he just thought he found something he wanted to keep to himself on a tactical level. A very small chance, for sure, but a chance... -Huzzah!
I was thinking more of the feedback gained from that explanation. Using abilities in creative ways is what makes this a strategy game, afterall, and not a "Who can click faster?" race. What I am most interested in is hearing what they have to say about the supposedly underpowered aspects of the game, such as the Ankylon. It was clearly not created to be a brawler like Ragnarov, but what role exactly did they have in mind for it? My personal opinion is that it was meant
O_O So...Much...TEC love. I...I can't even...And there's still more? And you like the Kol? Finally, somebody who doesn't just re-post all the same drone MP propaganda over and over again! This actually makes me want to play Rebellion more, I love the TEC Loyalists. Though I won't bother posting my start since HLT pretty much covered that quite nicely., except my second cap is Sova, not Marza. Embargo is great, and missile platforms is
Supposedly it's supposed to stop some time today, and stay cold for the rest of the week...Not fun when you have to spend 4 hours in it every morning dragging a bicycle and trailer full of newspapers through the snow... -Huzzah!
That was pretty much it. Who reads every word in every post? I read the OP and skimmed the rest looking to see if the questions were answered and caught onto another one, so I answered it. You seemed like you were annoyed that I didn't see that one little word in a post near the top of the page... -Huzzah!
While I should probably be on said list somewhere, that comment was genuine. What we really need is for the devs to give us a comprehensive explanation of what every ship/ability was designed to do. That'd clear everything up quite nicely. -Huzzah!
Delicious, but not well. I could have swore it was the other way around, though, but I never talked to either one so IDK. -Huzzah!
Storm. Yes, this weather qualifies. We've got a foot in the last 24 hours, and it's still falling. -Huzzah!
Unless the 4th race was campaign only, and the other 3 races were working together. Vas don't have everything, just the best weapons. Give them the TEC Economy and the Advent Shielding/drone swarms, plus a few other things, and you'd have a god-awful monster to contend with. -Huzzah!
I like the concept, but I dislike how the War-Room portion of the game works. It seems too linear. I like to take my time and build up my forces, but if you try to do that in this game you end up losing countries you can't gain back. if you could get them back, I'd be all for it. -Huzzah!
Might have been someone trolling, but I think remember the word Nephew coming up at some point. Not positive. -Huzzah!
