Kortul is really good. But its lvl 6 ability is too hard to use since most of the time. You wont have the antimatter to use it. Kol needs help. Yes. It just do enough dmg, and it cant really take massive amounts of hits either. Radiance......... It doesnt feel TOUGH enough to be called a battleship to match the kortul/kol

Double cap with Skirantra would be a bad idea wouldnt it? I thought the design of Skirantra was made to support your fleet with an AoE HEAL which would heal EVERY unit of yours in that area. Then whats the point of 2 Skirantras when theres only another Skirantra with 1-2 more units to heal. If i were you i would have spent the resources on fleet first. Light frigates might be a safer start too.

What does the "Pin" feature do? I don't see much happening either on or off.

Try going to Documents>AppData>Local>Ironclad Games>Sins of a Solar empire>Setting And open User.SETTING file with notepad or something and edit some of the settings you see there I haven't tried this yet but it may fix up your settings.
