well just let me know, imnot planning playing sins much till SOA2 is rdy. but that program really isn't made as a game booster per SE... its much more then that, its basically task manager on steroids. keep in mind though, like y'all i am very skeptical of any "automagical" programs

planetary sheild generators will also work too, fully researched the novalith will barely do any damage, and leave most of your population intact. depending on teh race im playing i just use the shield. although i just disable the superweapons, since iiMO right now there imbalanced.
yea it should be simple enogh for me to keep it updated,. as for if it has to be for each version, im not sure, but i would assume its best to double check.
agh so it is a 1.3 issue? i have been getting consistent mini dumps myself. now as i always play 8+ hour games, 5 vicious Ai and me on Medium large maps( its the most my pc can handle) i run into that stupid minidump error every time. and it isnt the 2 gb limit either.

wow i didnt think the mod would work on a save game either. i can assure you that if you start a new game, you wont even see the cannons on the research tree, nor can they be built by ANYONE/AI.

yea, when i did that ,thats when i started having minidumps, unfortunately the debug log never showed me what the error was.

hehe if i knew how to do that i would, as i said i tried many ways the first time... trying to remove any and all references to the cannons .. but got non stop minidumps. are you saying this is not the best way to do it? or that i just did it a hard way. Another question, I'm trying to reduce lag, can i change the Fleet sizes to Small? or will it totally screw over the AI particularly the Borg? right now im playing on about a 48 planet 1 star map and the Freezing is unbearable. i do 4 way battles me, 2 sets of AI teamed up and the borg. for a total of 5 AI players. i would remove a ai or 2 but then the game get's really boring. i know sins is a 32 bit single core game, but i dont see how peple

few questions here since i didnt find it on teh Stars website. or anywhre else for that matter. Colony ships.... am i missing smething or do i have to have a Capital ship? I know this mod is based around multi star maps and travel, so in order to appreaciate this mod the way it was meant to be played.... i want to know can i play random maps? or do i need to use your maps at all times. Is it pointless to use this mod with single star maps, or even multistar RANDOM maps
