It is a great game if the teams are balanced. This is the most important aspect towards having a great game. Can't stand people who only play stacked games to keep their win % high. Fair enough if it's ridiculously unbalanced but if it's there or there abouts, i'll play. I only usually play with people who are better or the same as me as I like a challenge. You've got to sort this invalid gamestate business out! People leaving just before their citadel is destroyed so the win isn't recorded. Had a great game just then with mighty assa, nnnils, on my team & chaotic hawk, , arab81 and d271292. They had the early game won and nnnils wanted to ceoncede, persuaded him to stay and we pulled it back then just as the citadel goes down one of them left and kaput! Most frustrating thing ever. Great news oh munificent one! Maps/mods/new DG's aren't on the cards at the moment due to the cost I gather. Users can't generate their own content due to the expensive software needed to do this. Thanks for the update. It's just a shame there isn't an easier/cheaper way to make new maps or the community to make them, that's what gave Renegade more life, get Aircraftkiller on the case. Even if the community did the bulk of the design work and just submitted the maps for quality control. I'm not even talking about new art for the maps, just a way for the community to set up there own tower/crystal/citadel/portal/lane locations on pretty much a blank canvas or pre existing one&nb

I know where you're coming from, some of the people in the lobby are arrogant bell ends but that shouldn't put you off hosting your own games and putting a suitable title in the game name such as under 30 games played and although I don't like the term "noob" this is the best way of hosting or joining a game suitable to your skill level within the game. I bet it's a thorny issue for you when a lot of people don't realise you don't have direct control over the ongoing development of the Demigod franchise, it would be great to see more content released for it or even better a sequal. It would be easy for you to say "nothing to do with me" and blame the problems on GPG, then forget about the whole episode. Assasins versus Generals does not work. Generals have too much of an advantage. They should get rid of the light side, dark side angle, just have a player leaderboard and let you pick any of the characters and once there's 4-6 players in the Q, off you go. Simples. 1 v 1 sucks and should only be an option in custom games.

I do think the artwork in DG is fabulous and one of the things that makes the game such a gem. The characters look good zoomed out but I love zooming in and looking at all the detail on the demi's and there little character moves, like Sedna patting her....... cat.

I don't think they can/will/should comment on specific numbers of cost to produce product as they are a business. But running on the numbers you quoted, 5 thousand bucks is chump change and would only keep the peeps at Stardock in cappuccino's for a week i'd guess.
