I just noticed dump files being saved as ZIP'ed files in War of Magic Stardock Forums

As the title says I just found my dump and debug.err files are being saved as zipped files. I was wondering if I should post these through PastBin or is there a better way to send them? I had not noticed mention of this in the forums before but I have been acussed of being blind also![e digicons]:grin:[/e]

I noticed this also, after I start a game and didn't like where the game placed me I started a new gameand I got a white screen. Had to exit and restart the game and that seemed to fix it.This bug seems to pop up only when you try to start a new game after playing a previous game from the menu screen!

I must agree with the origainal post, it is hard to have fun taking over the world while micro managing cities! I do think the building aspect of the game as it stands is messed up, and needs to be fixed before muliti-player is started. There is no way you can fight an opponet without knowing the rules for production of resources. Resource production seems to be very abstract as of this build, at least some basic guidlines as of what is required to advance a city would be nice. Then again who

I was not talking about a MMO style game, I was talking about a RTS/TBS style game . In the shadow of Elemental and Company of Heroes. Might just have to wait for the MOD features of Elemental to try to make this happen. I thank you all for the positive feedback, and to the others, yes the world is flat!

I'll make sure to have some money in my account in March, but according to past history I don't expect Beta2 untill June! maybe I will be pleasently suprised in mid April but I doubt it. I ordered in October. Did I mention I like dissapointment. Just kidding take all the time you need to make this right, I want to be enjoying this game well past 2015 if the world last that long!

A week or 2 ago SD said that Account Pings would be sent out to make sure money was in the account. Frogs Boys recent post about opening the Beta as it stands is encourging and that may be what your are seeing. I Pre-ordered In late October and have been waiting since then, Hard to remember to keep Money in my account at Christmas though!

Thanks for your bile, I was hoping that a decent devlopment company might think there was an idea there. most of the companys that make games based on the series have no interest in designing games for the PC that was might point. again thanks for your circular logic, I will make a note DW and not waste your companys time!

I just finished watching the latest Naruto Sh. episode, I have been waiting for 5 years to see this and thought, is there any way a PC based RPG version of this series could be done? I understand there are Licenseing issues to be dealt with but I really think that the depth of the story and characters could make a really cool game. there are many platform based fighter style versions of the series, and 1 RPG version that I am aware of but I like my PC games better and think a better

Been trying to get an answer from the sales end of things, they last said money would not be taken from my account until the game was ready, I wish they would just take it and send me some kind of assurrence that I will be in Beta 2. I need to buy Christmas gifts and do not want to be streched out waiting for the charge to hit my account!

I like your idea, the same stories get old over time but the programing behind it would take some serious thought and time, not sure where to begin, mabey text options linked through a database. If this game is set up with an online community the stories could get very deep , again I like the idea.

I am thinking you are right Tridus, looking through the post on this thread alone. String Bubble contengent theory is less complex, still I do like complex problems and am kicking my self for not preordering in Sept.With any luck this game will break the foundation of deep games and save PC gaming. I for one am sick of FPS based PC games and think theyneed to be left to platform systems. I still love My Fallout 3 and Half Life though!

I am still confused quote"Having just acquired the Elemental Beta yesterday, " I pre-ordered on Oct 18, Pre-order page still says not avaible till after the Fall. Am I missing something? Enabled all demos and Pre releases and still no love. What hoops do I have to jump through to get in on the Beta?
