easiest way to clear mines: ram a titan through it with some shield/hull repair guys at a safe distance. Or, build a trade port in the middle of the minefield

I have played with all the titans with the exception of the advent loyalist. I will say that neither of them are completely finished. However i have noticed that the tec seem to be much more powerful that the advent or vasari. However, that being said, the vasari and advent have always had an advantage or two over the tec. The reason i suggest something like this is to stop what ive seen as capital ship spam. Not necessarily on part of players, but on part of the AI. they spam flagships at you like the pirates spam raiders. My idea was to have people invest more in capital ships that they already have built, rather than to just build more. Capital ships are strong, there is a huge gap between a fully upgraded starbase/titan and capital ships. Maybe it could be setup so once the ship had acquired

I have an idea for a way to balance the game for capital ships a little. Instead of having a max of 16 capital ships all at level ten, how about the number of capital ships you can create is based upon their level. so for example you could have 16 capital ships at a max level of 6. or you could have 7 (one of each) at a level of say...15. Maybe allow capital ships to be stronger than they are now by half again, but cap them to a lower limit.

I have noticed the AI is, as someone recently described "derpy" still. I usually do a large multi system random map with max number of AI's all on cruel. Occasionally i make an AI my ally, but rarely.

My understanding of the supply pact is that it does not give extra supply, so much as it makes your current supply cost less. At least i think thats how it was working. I played a long game with large fleet active, and i had max fleet but it was only costing me like 47% or something. That, or i read the supply pact wrong.

Well, i fixed it. I literally had to load the game and use screenshots to navigate to the settings tab. might be a good idea to set the gamma setting by having to click apply.

Ok so i just got the game, and i was playing around with the settings, somehow i managed to turn fullscreen gamma to zero, which made my game a black screen. i have been looking through the files for a way to manually change the gamma to normal. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now. Any ideas? the game is running, but i cant see anything. Normally when i change a setting i had to apply it, but this setting was instant
