Never mind. Found it. It's been moved off planet.

I have just started a new game after downloading the 3.1 update. I thought all home planets started with a starport already built? Have I missed something? Because Altaria doesn't start with one.
My observations confirm this.
Ooof. Make that 3. And I'm really getting into this game again.
I agree. Thanks.
Someone please refresh my memory. On the 'Govern Planet' screen, what does the slider do?
Getting some quirky happenings. I have to click on "Resolve Current Conflict" several times during ship combat.
Can constructor ships be used to build mining bases like we used to?
The population count when you hover over a planet doesn't seem to equal the population number on the side bar info screen.
Well, there goes the rest of my week.
It only makes sense to have an upgrade option. Why else, then, would I take such great pains to conserve my forces and help them level up. I have very experienced spearman in padded clothing I'd like to improve with new weapons and armor and then group together into squads and companies. It's hard to watch a level 6 spearman get eviscerated by a level one squire or duke with a warhammer and stout armor.
Top flight PC with plenty of speed, RAM and dual video cards. I haven't, ever, been able to complete the campaign (which BTW, doesn't sub for a proper tutorial) and am about to uninstall and toss this clunker. I wish the folks who created GalCiv had been involved with making Elemental. PC gaming is in its death throes because game companies keep shipping unplayable games (Civ V anyone?). Didn't y'all play test this game before release?
