That's exactly what I do. I was just confused because I don't remember getting a new full copy of the mod. I did some modding of my own to the last version, but don't remember downloading anything more than the .5 patch. guess I did though......

Good ability idea, although I'm pretty sure the ship lineup is set in stone and they are already working on new planet types.
What does the "Search for ZPM's" human research do? I looked in the entities, but it doesn't seem like it does anything. Have you guys just not added an effect to it yet?
Hold up, by saying the patch is cumulative, you mean the entire mod is in the patch right?
Jeez that was easy, just select it click the box and you're done? Thought it would be more complicated than that lolz.
Thanks harpo, yeah I knew that. I have 64-bit windows so this would be a nice addition.
Think you could tell me which one you used Carl? I just got a new comp and don't wanna get anything potentially dangerous.
Yeah it was June 6th wasn't it? It's in the topic title.
No problems here. Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 8gb ram. You'll definitely want to turn aero off though if u dont have a lot of ram.
And might there be a tentative ETA for this release?
HO....LY..... CRAP!!!! I always privately thought the graohics on this mod (and really the game itself) were crap. But I just got a new comp that can finally handle it on highest settings, and I am amazed!! Lolz I'll probably get laughed at by all the people who've had great comps, but I have new respect for whoever it is that designed these models. Everyone who doesn't have a good comp I suggest to get one, because you will be amazed too.
Anyone else having trouble seeing the last 4 replies on the previous page (not to mention the fact that there's not a reply box either)? Did the bottom of the page get chopped off from too much space taken up by replies?
I believe on your website that the Trade Alliance's capital ship "Excelseor" should be spelled "Excelsior." Was that intentional?
My bad, I was under the impression that Darkshimmer did all the balancing and that it was in already. Oh and Haiyooo, to fix that, if you are the dominion just tell the ship to attack whatever ship it's attacking again, or jus to move back towards the well. If you're fighting the dominion, I guess you have to lure the ship back into the gravity well with your ships lolz. And yes this mod is an awesome mod, I meant no disrespect. Excuse my ignorance lolz.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but do the dominion seem underpowered? I mean, yeah, their capital ships really kick butt, but that does not seem to make up for the fact that the rest of their ships are crap lol. Does anyone else notice that the other races beat them really easily?
Sorry if I missed it, but do we have a Romulan starbase yet?
Woops, double post please ignore.
Did you guys give the Dominion any love in this recent update (besides the starbase)?
One thing I've noticed is that structures do seem to take up a lot of memory. I was playing a huge random map, and the stupid AI was fortifying the heck out of every planet it had, and in the process slowing my game down a lot. I found that after I went on some raids with my fleet and took out a few heavily defended planets the game sped right back up again. In short, I just suggest that you really optimize the buildings, since they take a lot of memory up. Also I've n
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe this effect is "hard coded" into the game, making it difficult if not impossible to change. I am no expert on such things, however, and read this in another topic. Let me try and find it again.
I play Huge Multiplayer map, aginst 7 to 8 AI all on normal difficulty. I'm running with 6 Gigs of G-skll ddr 3 1600hz ram. With Intel Core I7 920@ 3.4
Yeah umm, your system is definitely not your problem. That's what I was going to suggest, but I only just now got home from school. Thanks jtaylorpcs. Maybe you could try just reinstalling the mod or deleting the Ironclad Game
Widowmaker, what map are you playing and how many opponents on what difficulty are you facing? Also how much ram do you have?
Oh and Major Stress, unless I'm mistaken I didn't see anything about the danube that looked like a corvette. I didn't test it, but I didn't see any damage ratings in the info card. Did I miss something or is it not implemented yet?
Yes definitely disable it sooner. One thing that I've typically seen in this game is that the actual range of units is slightly larger than the purple circle. If you are disabling it just before the unit enters the circle, chances are the mindless borg drones are already destroying the puny ship in their way. [e digicons]o_O[/e] Resistance is futile if you wait too late to disable the AA. [e digicons][/e] I would try disabling it as soon as you see
Yep that's what I said to do and I'm pretty sure it works for me too. You must be doing something wrong if the cube still attacks. Sorry if I didn't explain it clearly enough in my first post.
