That math goes way over my head, lol. But i get the idea- i just recall my max research Cobalts for both sides doing 10 and 14 respectively. I deal in absolutes, ceebs going into the maths; lol. EDIT- on my phone, will get two definitive screenshots tomoz.

I will provide screenshots if needed. The TEC laser amplification research does not affect Cobalts. The 2 techs, 2 levels a piece, should increase the Cobalts average damage from 10, to an 11 after the first tech and 12 after the second. This is not the case. The value remains static at 10 after the research. Also, the Rebel's laser amplification suddenly jumps the value to 14, when it is only an additional 5%, to 12.5 Thus, the value

I have only one problem with that novel- single galaxy. Though the more i think about it, the more i cant remember any reference to extragalactic. I think the Vasari were of a different galaxy... I swear thats in the original manual somewhere..

I agree with the Capital Ship spams- im seeing 3 of everythings with minimal frigates. Less so on mines. However, i cant say ive endured this yet- i played against 3 normals and saw no Titans, superweapons and like one fort. world. If anything im questioning the AI in this, their play style has become very different- ill make a complete post later on my issues. A very simple solution could be to have an option that sets how complicated the diplomacy is- Basic (pre diplomacy with pacts and that stuff) and Advanced (What it is now.) Naturally, with Basic on, Diplomatic Victory would be disabled. Personally, im too interested in trying to turn the enemy on themselves (i remember a particular pre patch one.. Secrets? I love Gateway. Its a personal favourite- take out half of the players, so its an empty system and its great. Fighting over Gateway, fleeing to Xi, or trying to hold back the enemy on the multitude of paths available. Plus i like the long sweeping wings of asteroids- i try get as far down them as i can.

Just a minor thing, but if a Ogrov attacks a structure on the far side of the planet, the missiles go straight through the planet to hit it on the far side. Its small, and i just found it a little annoying, idk if you can fix this. Another autocasting issue i found VERY significant, was the Corsev Scuttle (targets friendly ships, they explode and damage the enemy) ability. It targeted and destroyed my ships in friendly gravity wells... with no enemies in sight. Also, if your tweaking them, since youve disabled the Capture ability being able to convert buildings, could you make the Corsev prioritize enemy ships over turrets in combat, since its a waste to use it on buildings in combat, but can be very significant

Ill look through my auto saves, but on last check, the auto saves are bugged- they were couting in twos and rarely saving? EDIT: Def playing up, they save like once every hour and rarely at that.

Ill upload a screenshot tomorrow if needed, but basically: If you have a fleet (with me, i have a mixed fleet of frigates and Capital Ships) and then incorporate a Titan, or even just select multiple ships with a Titan amidst them, and right click to move somewhere, its bizarrely out of sync. I found these today, idk if theyre known. Ones small but annoying, the other is either a bug or an OP feature. First bug is that the TEC loyalist Titan has a habit of activating its group shield power as soon as the cooldown expires... even when theres nothing hostile in the gravity well.
