Thats why its currently in beta release as its not perfect yet. Try uninstalling your current version, and remove everything from the \wcbrowser directory, then reinstalling the latest version from Stardock Central. Brian

The bug your mentioning is actually a bug with existing installs where the shortpath has been set in the registry and wcb doesnt like that. Simply uninstalling and reinstalling through sdc as suggested will fix this.

The newest additions and updated skins list is now maintained slightly different so all new skins get shown, and not just a basic list of 10 or 15 like the site does. Use the Check for Skin Updates on the tools menu to do a manual check and if there are any new skins they will get added. Brian

Hi there, The are currently 2 problems with GalCiv and trying to install it through SDC. To install the game normally (not archiving it) go into the SDC settings and untick the option to "Prompt to enter an installation directory" under the Installation heading. If you are having problems loading up SDC on startup, try deleting all files from within your Discussion directory at C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\Discussion Then try reloading the program. Brian ~SDC~

In time the WCBrowser list and the WCTray list will be the same. You could also set the icon to hide when inactive if you wanted so its not always visible. If an update is found, the icon gets shown again. Brian

CredendoVides, please check your serial number has been entered and is correct within the Register Products dialog on the Tools menu. Drooling Iguana, has your serial number ever worked? you can find your account information within the Register Products dialog on the Tools menu. Select the Drengin.net tab and ensure your Drengin.net subscription serial number, or your GalCiv serial number (if you have purchased the program separatly) is there and is correct. Brian
