Ok i see the problem I accidentally bought Object Desktop twice, and never used one, is it possible to get one refunded?
It would be nice if any of the images in the article worked.

It does suck that people want to use software but have no respect for the developers of that software. I hear it all the time, people badmouthing Microsoft, then downloading and using pirate copies of Windows, thanking the uploaders up and down, and still bad mouth MS every day... total hypocrites!
Kupotek comes from 2 interests of mine about 5 years ago, Final Fantasy and Egyptology.
Everything running great here. Communicaton is key, and I wish other companies took your lead and followed suit! Right now the big one is and has been Microsoft. Microsoft never has been good with upgrading software or making errors understandable to the public or remediable by the community. Internet Explorer 7 is too little too late if you asked me. Poaching developers from Firefox to develop it even. The mozilla commu
Odd when i try to edit my post i get an error:
The first skin i was really jazzed about was years ago, the ancient egyptian skin https://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=89617 too bad it doesnt work anymore since its so out of date i loved how the interior opened up to reveal a hidden desktop!
I've seen websites that do this with FLASH.
This was a great primer, and that's what it was supposed to be. It's not exactly a developer's manual though Tameddragon Maybe someone can write up one of those next !
know from experience never to buy a new operating system until it's been out close to a year because we all know every version of Windows has nearly decimated the enduser with crippling bugs in the first months of release, which have required many many patches, and I for one have always been one to wait for the fallout to clear when approaching Microsoft products. It has never failed me yet. Vista on the other hand has such new hardware dema
omg ~ i am totally blown away by your artwork. I normally go for less technology style, more nature, but Namida and Dragonheart are two of my favorites of your work, but altogether I am thoroughly impressed by your sense of proportion, detail, and symmetry and color. Amazing talent, keep up the great work!!! Kupo http://www.kittysafe.net
This only works in PRO because there is no gpedit.msc under XP Home.
Seems more like spam then anything relavent.
A few things will reboot your system whether you want to or not: 1. Upgrading video drivers by ATI 2. WIndows XP SP2 makes it that windows updates of any kind ask you to reboot, and though it will let you choose later, it keeps popping up every few minutes, until eventually it starts counting down from 5 or 10minutes then selfboots. 3. Updating Norton Antivirus also will say hit 'ok' to reboot Other programs
And that's already happening, with skins only available to site subscribers, where does that lead? Eventually Object Desktop will have to lower their prices to accomodate the change skins go from free to paid for.
Found it, thanks to those guys in #stardock
How do you set that roll option? Thanks
First, I am a Stardock subscriber, and WC subscriber. I have been using SD for a few years now. And I love it, and am happy to pay for a WC and SD subscription. That aside, One problem i have with the stardock Object Desktop universe isnt the price of Object Desktop, but that most everything costs $20 on top of it. I think once you paid $50 or whatever for OD, you shouldnt have to pay another $XX just to use the software
THAT'S IT! Developer Cyberworld and all who helped, thankyou so much!
That's not it. Too glossy. From what I remember this looked very brazen, no gloss and not hidden in darkness. It had a very rough feel to it. Also the oval opened to reveal the desktop icons.
A few years ago I remember this really nifty Egyptian DesktopX theme. It had a sort of oval gadget in the center and you could open / close effectively hiding all your work behind this great door type thing. Anyone remember this theme and know where I can find it? I searched through the Deesktopx themes and could not locate it! Thankyou for your time!! -Kupo Kitty Safe Ntwrk. http://www.kittysafe.net
After reading all 5 pages of this article, I must say it's been an interesting ride. I think the situation is simple and not as complex as people like to make out. BiTTorrent, P2P is being used primarily to dstribute digital media, i.e. movies, television, software, music, e-books, whatnot illegally. The problem I feel is the cost of things these days. You goto the store for a CD and you're looking at $20 a pop. And
The best companies don't complain when another company steals their ideas, because the more people incorporating a new technology furthers the growth in that technology's development. I, although have had a hard time restraining myself from whining about idea theft when looking at Internet Explorer 7 beta, because it's obviously ripping off Mozilla Firefox. The dialogs are exactly the same dimensions even. Not long ago Microsoft talked abo
