Annoying since the very beginning: "Always show icons after startup" is checked again after EVERY update. Can't we just keep that setting like it was?

I am little on time at the moment, I am back to 2.01.
After an Update today and a restart Start 11 crashes every 2nd time I want to change an icon. Still did not get 23H2.
Feature Request: Make active tabs more obvious. EDIT: Solved by colors.
I see explorer crashing occasionally when changing an icon. Happens after choosing the icon and coming back from the choice-dialogue. Icon remains unchanged. 2nd attempt works then.
Why not just create a virtual machine with Windows 7? Hyper-V is built in. ;-) You could even have copied Your whole old machine to a virtual one.

EDIT: Nevermind, this only happens when 'Use Start 11 Search in Start 11' is switched off. SOLVED. I have plenty of apps I can't pin to Start 11. :-( Problem is, they don't appear under all apps also. ESIT
