Followup on Unit Selection/Movement bug: It now appears that my previous problem is a hyperthread bug. As reported before I would select a unit for movement and when I clicked on a destination another unit not selected would move to the destination instead of the one I selected. When I disabled hyperthread (forward loading option)the problem seemed to disappear. Perhaps the way Star Bases work could be changed: If SBs could be garrisoned inside systems like other ships and limited to one per planet (for garrison purposes) then economic,production, and defense benefits could be tied directly to the garrisoned SBs. Garrisoned SBs would be permanetly fixed unless disbanded (ie terror SBs could not be garrisoned) and contribute to the influence of the system. (I.E. ungarrisoned bases would either be terror SBs or mining SBs). Also mining SBs should nolonger

I think this might be a bug: After installing the update I played my first game with a tiny map size and close clusters and abundant worlds. SOL had an extra class 15 world so I colonized it. After 15 turns I received an intelligence brief about an evil presence on one of my worlds. The next turn SOL turned into a hostile system and started kicking out rangers. My other colony was hopelessly squashed 3 turns later. :sniff!:
