ChasUGC : i get one firewall on my routeur, and Norton Firewall as well ...
ChasUGC : Windows XP, more than 28 features to send to Microsoft all about your PC, how u use it and so on ... without any alert of any firewall ...
I've send an email to support@Stardock and waiting for an answer and explanation ... As i said i remember in the very early time i used WB (think at the begining of it ) that it was asked on first install if i accept or not to let WB send to Stardock what skin i'm using. But since this time i've changed my PC and install newer versions of WB and i never saw that message again ...

TheGreenReaper, do i have to re-install SDC each time there's an update avaible for a prog ???

From times to times when i stop (or reboot) the PC, i get that error message : "WBload, Unable to start communication with server" + a button [OK], then unless i click OK or press CTRL+ALT+DEL to stop WBload, the PC don't reboot or stop Does it mean Stardock is connecting on my PC all day ?? (to look after which skin i use for example ...) BUT i NEVER saw any advertissment from Stardock about that practise even when i installed it the first time !!! Anyway, how can i

yrag, the trouble came effectivly from Stardock, i just received an email from Patrick Ford which is telling me the problem has been corrected !!! and effectivly it is !!!
nothing of above tips are working for me neither ... and i try since more than one week many times ... i've also send a mail to the admin responsable of accounts without any response ... >

In case you didn't know, Win98 has most the same modules(services) as Win98. You just can't access them and turn them off the way you can in WinXP. Protection of what ?? if anyone wants to modify any skin, there's always the solution to edit the .uis file with a text editor ... so why r u thinking of a protection avaible just with skinstudio ???? can't stand that

joetheblow there's no space either in the uis file name or folder or in any files in the folder ... (mean for the elsdee skin) anyway i can't use the skinsudio copy on this skin, i just can't open it !!!

Well, for ChasUGC, even just after e reboot and about 93 % free resource GDi and 70 % free system resource i get that problem since very few time and just on 2/3 skins ... m0rphium : actually the two skins which are giving me this trouble is your's ans elsdee from danilloOC. effectivly your's has a lot of mask images but elsdeee has none !!!! In fact i can't see the relation between the numbers of masks images and the crashes of PC just while attempting to open the skin ... ?
