I agree with a lot of this! Want to comment particularly on the Scryve. It doesn't feel "heavy" enough - to me, it's emblematic of how a lot of the ships feel off in general. It handles too much like most of the other ships, like starting with midrange and tweaking a few knobs tweaked a bit. If it had lower acceleration it would have more of the feel of a capital ship - notice how it feels to change a Dreadnought's course in SC1/2. I would say, though, that the Scryve d

We're very fortunate that the 3DO version happened, not only because it gave us the voices but it had a different publishing arrangement from the PC where they legally owned the source and were eventually able to release it. The open-source "Ur-quan Masters" version is based primarily on the 3DO version, which had voice acting, a few reworked music tracks, and slightly better graphics. The open-source version also incorporates bug fixes and further improvements (you can search the starmap with '/'), adds net melee, and is the best one overall, plus it's free. Recommend you play that one. If this is your first time
Hello everyone! I was hesitant on this project for awhile (and still am only cautiously optimistic to be honest). But with the Ghosts announcement has given me a lot of SC excitement in general and with the respect that Stardock has shown to FF/PR from the start, I finally decided to join the founders.

It's less about confusing Star Control: Origins players and more
