i believe that using both research stations for any fleet size is too lame. it should be restricted to econimic research should be restricted to frigates, the new frigates and cruisers. military research should be restricted to the caps, and the new titan ships. the reason for this is that, at least for the humans, they didnt have any warships when the war started. they would have needed to resea

i think it would depend on the strength of the individual. some wouldn't be able to fight it and some will. the Borg are not sonics, they get theirs through tech. it is the tech that is controlled by putting the drone to sleep or a trance.
