Something keeps breaking my files. I downloaded my mod and yes they are corrupt. I zipped the very folder I am using to play the mod. I will use a differant zip utility and upload again. Sorry about all the problems, but I am frustrated too.

Uploaded Homeworld Entrenchment 1.03. Mod is for Sins of a Solar Empire Entrenchment 1.03 as the name suggests. This is still a work in progress, but is playable now. The FX mod people are from what I gather from the readme are Chinese (I think). The FX mod is for HW2 which they used ships from all three HW games. Found the problem. Somehow the taiidan scout got corrupted.
(Somebody is already doing a B5 mod.) I have run into a problem. I can play as taiidan against advent, i can play as Taiidan against Kushan. as kushan against advent, but when I play as kushan against taiidan I get a minidump when the metal count is 3322 every time. Can't figure it out. I have tech as kushan and vasari as taiidan. advent is still advent. i can also play as taiidan against kushan and advent, but not as advent against taiidan and kushan and not as kushan against taiidan and adv
I am still here. I am converting this mod to Entrenchment 1.03. I have Kushan and Taiidan done except for the icons, which I just got done working on. 2:48 am here so I am quitting and going to bed. Sorry for no updates will try to do better. PS, been playing alot of Fallout 3.

Due to the fact that when I play this mod after about a couple hours I am getting a mini dump, I have not made any more progress. It is really frustrating to put all this work in to a mod and up pops a mini dump and you have no idea why. I wish it wasn't so cryptic. So until I can find the cause I am at a stand still. I don't know if this would be your problem but I modded a ship once and I put, I don't know, maybe 15 or 20 exhaust points on it, the game mini dumped right off the bat. When I lowered the exhaust points to I think 12 it worked. Same with Flair points. I think 10 is max. And I think 2 is max on strike craft exhaust.
Thanks to SpartrSon21 I got the HW music. Now to put it in the mod, but there is alot of music in Sins and it's hard to know what to put where. You have the game.musicdata file plus the individual player entity files. If any one can make sense of it please help. wraith2209

I have uploaded Beta 1.1 of this mod. Beta 1.1 I redid the textures with the help from information provided by Major Stress. I think they look alot better. Added the Motherships as a starting ship, but not buildable. Each carry 8 squads of strikecraft. May need better balancing. Added unique shield meshes for each model. Added new minning bases for Taiidan. Tried to tweak entity files to make ship weapons fire more like HW ships. Need suggestion

EvilTesla-RG has some good point which I did struggle with when assigning ships and their roles. But when it all comes down to it HW and Sins are completly differnt games premise wise. So here are my thoughts on why I put those ships in question in their roles. But I really don't want to get in to a dicussion about what went on after the end of HW and the begining of HW:C. Thanks for all the comments. I will work on the textures, but I am having a hard time understanding the mechanics of the texture channels. I hope I can it better with Major Stress' suggestions. For right now I have stripped the normal maps from the .mesh files (open them in notepad and look for the .nm file reference and delete them, leave the quote marks. It makes the ships look better. I will try to get some screen shots in the next few days.
EvilTesla-RG, sorry but your mistaken about the music. I haven't touch the music. As a matter of fact I don't even know how to mod the music yet. Besides the music is the least of my worries right now. I think I did figure out the problem with the washed out texture. I read in the forms that Eviljedi was having trouble with the normal map texture and he didn't put them in. I took out the normal map on the Kushan carrier and it did look better.  
Thanks all for the imput. Yes, I am still learning. I'm not real happy with the textures either. I have never textured before. I also wish I could make the weapon effects more Homeworldish (is that a word? :) ) too, but that is something else I have to learn to do. Yes still needs alot of work and any help is appreciated. SpardaSon21, please feel free to tinker with it and I would really like to see what you come up with.
This is my first attempt at a conversion and I am still learning. I have the Kushan(TEC) and Taiidan(Vasari) playable. I have played the Kushan on a huge FFA map to the end. I didn't add the motherships because I can't decide what role they would play other than a huge carrier. I made the Homeworld corvettes as frigates, HW frigates as cruisers, and well, Cap ships are Cap ships.
