I get ghost images of the buttons that linger on the spot where the dialog box was. Ill restore the dialog box then reduce it again and the ghost image

hate to say it but I think there are some memory issues. When loading and unloading wb, i notice a longer delay that what I have been used to. Upwards of 40 secs.. I am also getting more memory related errors now since 5.92(b)(?) it doesnt feel as clean as the earlier beta. Still a nice product...

OK where is the toggle to turn off loading wb on startup? I cannot find anything with the beta that allows me to disable running at startup/login. Also I have noticed on occasion that when unloading the beta, when the screen does blur out that the blur holds for almost a full minute. This when I have had the machine quiet and not running any active apps... just idle. thanks

I just updated to Windowblinds 6beta 5.92b.090 and have noticed some odd things with the configuration window. 1. unless Im blind no apparent EXIT link/button/etc... 2. when making changes the configuration UI blanks out and the hourglass runs... when I try to exit I get a ghost empty after effect of the dialog bog but the blank dialog box doesnt exit, it does minimize and then when it is restored the UI is back to normal and then I can exit out. over all I like the lat

Object Desktop components dont show up in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

I connected into SDC today and went to Object Desktop and there are no contents! Is there an issue with the site? I can see the contents in the MISC and other folders but not the Object Desktop folder. My account info is up to date and I had used SDC friday the 20th so I know it was working then. Thanks Kevin

I recently purchased a new pc for home and it came with Windows Vista home premium. Not bad... I have 2g of ram and nice graphics etc..... My work laptop is WinXP and I use a lot of the stardock tools on it(!! ) I have a couple of questions 1. Anyone using DesktopX(and other Stardock apps) on Vista? 2. Any problems? To be honest I am not too keen on Vista. Pretty is ok, but I am sick

wow interesting thread. I have enjoiyed using Stardocks products regardless of bugs or not. I have also enjoyed Stardocks attempts to be "out there". Its cool to see developers/employees frequent message boards and chat with their client base. Thats the way it should be. Personable. Saved game load in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I am running the latest GCII and had been playing my scenerio for almost 2 weeks. Went to load it a couple of days ago and it crashed the app. No problem I thought.. I had been running my dev environment so I rebooted to a clean state. Removed extraneous apps from loading and launched the game. Same problem. Loading my saved or quick saved scenrio crashes the app. It wouldnt have been so bad but for 2 weeks I have been really stroking the other races and was about ready to claim victory

I feel your pain, I have had my domain for almost 10 years as well. My email volume after spam filter and such runs around 300-400 emails a day as well. Its a big waste of time, because at some point I might actually have an email so just recently I created a catch-all account. It seems to have worked. Tree tool? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Has anyone come up with a way to be able to list a races research tree? For example lets say I am playing my customized race over the coarse of a couple of days or more and I want to see what all I have researched before going into the game? I realize that going into the game we can view our researched items... but its clunky and doesnt give a snap shot of the big picture quickly. just curious. thanks! <img src="smiles/BigSmile.gif"
