sorry, problem of communication (who said laziness ?) I think the score submission problem comes from games started in one version and ended in another - in addition I was meddling with the data files, translating them mainly, so the metaverse refused the submission thinking I was cheating ? so : english -> start and finish a game without changing the version seems to be what funcioned with me ; french -> j'ai l'impression que commencer un jeu et le finir sous la même v

i'm actually using combat transports to raise morale on some colonies, at a certain point population growth seems so high that i HAVE TO get rid of some of them, otherwise morale and production go down depending on PQ, between 30B and 50B i have to start either building transports or morale bonus improvements i think it is a good thing, as my colonies seem to grow really faster than the AI's ones i'm looking forward to finishing this game, i chose a universe too large,

thanks for the link, already visited :D the working of morale is a mistery for me, but I think the "capping effect" is even more puzzling I tend to low taxes / sell techs to avoid deficit / research for morale bonus improvements and so on another point : a planet with 30 B people, I take away 5B of them on a combat transport, morale was 100% at the beginning, it stays 100%, I only lose some production points, but if I ever put them back on the planet the morale falls

hello, can I use this post for a few questions ? :) what is the maintenance cost of DeathStars ? I read somewhere 100 bc, is it right ? if I build an improvement on a planet I expect the spending to go up the amount of the improvement's maintenance, e.g. : I build a stadium, http://webpages.charter.net/trevorpowdrell/Stadium.htm the spending for the planet should increase by 2 bc, and the profits from the planet increase 5%, but things seem different, spending increases muc

je tente de finir cette partie (galaxie "moyenne", c'est long !) pour envoyer un autre score j'ai bien fait attention de mettre tout à jour AVANT de commencer la partie, et je croise les doigts ; jmforhan > tu peux envoyer deux fois la même partie sous le même pseudo, pas plus, c'est assez logique ; je crois qu'il faut continuer ou commencer un nouveau post au sujet des soumission des scores, sinon on va polluer celui-ci ...

ok, this time the score's been registered I changed nothing whatsoever, simply the metaverse took it into account ... in a few weeks I'll switch to DSL, hope this won't mess it again :D

mmm ... the article describes BOTF as a "franchise casualty", Star Wars made a franchise 4x game, tried to play it a little, but it was essentially void of interest , (I'm not such a great fan of SW after all) "eXplore eXpand eXploit eXterminate" ok, nothing to do with strategy strictly speaking, or turn based then Pax Imperia (1997) took some of my time :)

the lockup is always while playing since updating to 1.13 the game goes english but not completely, is my french version the issue ? I have a new one : if I click on the planet "details" after loading a game I'm back on the desktop, but ONLY if I try to read the details immediately after loading :) are there problems with W98 SE ? I'm on my first normal AI level game :D

in France the game is almost nowhere to be seen, bought it from amazon after a very small article on Gen4 www.gen4pc.com, the article gave it a small 65/100, but on the internet things were different, most important when I visited this site and read the forum, then I was convinced definitely ready for galciv2 :)

tried again, first time got a "Echec test d'envoi" (submission failure), then a load of "ÿ" and then test=1 error=0 nothing for my player :( finished the game again, send it by clicking twice on the button, failure again, but twice the failure message last time I clicked on "forget my password" I received the password and pseudo I am using at the address I am using, so I think I am well identified ? thanks, I used the "forgot my password" and it sent me ... the login and password I was trying to use in fact I registered from one computer but confirmed from a second one, is this an issue ? good to see that it is possible to login from different computers for you (:( if I try to create a new identity and player, what will happen when they see the game id number is the same ? also, I think that if you search for a nonexistent player the metaverse should answer "the player does not exist" or something I ask for my scores (lhetre) it says there are no scores to show, I ask for a non existent player (pippoeminni) with the same answer
