I found your letter to be very moving. I might have even sniffled. It sounds like he is a hard worker and if he could get out of his current environment, it might make a huge difference. Why don't you just say what you want to say? Exactly what is the programming these kids are supposed to be receiving? My boys are in public schools and they ARE learning. They know about history and algebra and how to write a short story.
