it's not a secrety secret, but it is a bit secret, so i won't say anything yet. but we're not going overseas or anything really big like that. everything we're doing will be very low-key.

thanks, karma. we're very excited! fishhead - i hope we won't be sick of each other after 4 weeks... we're going to be living together for a lot longer than that!
i think it's out, not down, but then i'm not that au fait with my boxing terminology at the moment. (although i must say i have seen Cinderella Man and it was great). it'd be great to catch up sometime, but i don't know when. the next three weeks are a write-off in the lead-up to the wedding and then we're honeymooning for another 4 weeks. between now and then though, stay in touch via ju and hopefully we'll see you (albeit briefly, i'm sure)
i like these. especially the one about detention centres in the desert.
hi i reread my article. you're right -- it came across as remarkably self-centred and materialistic and for that i'm sorry. i didn't intend it to come across that way. i didn't mean it to. i find the prospect of setting up a house from scratch a bit overwhelming, although not so much now as i did when i wrote the article. but i didn't mean for it to sound like i was just using my family and friends as an excuse to get stuff. on the contrary,
for anyone who's interested, our application was successful -- we start moving on Friday!
Hey Well, guess what? We looked through a unit yesterday. And it's pretty much perfect. I'm really excited because I feel like I've been waiting for this for ages! (I guess it hasn't really been that long) I'm also excited because I'm running out of room in my bedroom and under my parents' bed for our rapidly expanding collection of homewares! God bless our
champas, i thought this was rad. i even gave you an insightful. you go!
I'm feeling a little uninspired this week about what to write for an editorial. Almost as if I know some sort of inspriration will come, but that it just hasn't come yet. Well, I figured I'd do a bit of writing anyway and if something cool came out of it, great. If not, I still have tomorrow to draw something together. I've been searching the web for cool recipes
thanks, champ. you're a legend, even if you've been coming across very buddhist-y of late and yeah... writing again, not writing again -- i've decided my blog is my space. i write for me and i write when i want. it's a very liberating stance somehow.
Hi there Well the working day is nearly drawing to a close, thank the Lord! I've been working today and I'm tired. It's Saturday here in Australia at the moment, for all you people livin' in the past in the USA. It's the first time I've done a Saturday shift -- pretty much a long, boring day of ringing people's answering machines and hoping my reason for bein
yes, it depends on the bridge... and it depends on both sides of the bridge.
i think talking together and actually working at the friendship and making it a priority... i also think many marriages fall apart that could have been saved, just because the support wasn't there for the couple when they needed it. i know several couples who came hours away from divorcing and who separated who now are so happy together... and they got back on track because of the support of their family/ friends/ church. good question though
yay for new clothes! sounds nice... but i can't believe that other stuff doesn't fit you anymore. you were always pretty tiny anyway.... i hope when i finally get to see you i can still see you! (ie you're not so small that you've just disappeared) i went shopping on thursday and it was so exciting -- i hadn't been shopping in ages! i bought a new bag and lip gloss and two pairs of shoes -- except i've given one of the pairs of shoes to mum because
hey - sorry i only just saw your message then. pretty dumb of me to leave a message on your blog where i couldn't check it after i left home yesterday morning, but as it was i was busy all day anyway. i'd like to catch up soon if we could... i don't know when but yeah.
hi don't know if you'll get this in time but... i'm out at uni having an exam tomorrow morning and i don't have to go to work afterward. wanna catch up?
hi did you send me a text on my birthday? i mustn't have your mobile number
that was kind of him to do that! did he know you liked chico babies?
hi texas wow... what a thought provoking topic. abortion is such a touchy subject, as you said, and i know i at least find it very difficult to seperate my own emotions and beliefs from logical reasoning. however, in cases when lives are at risk, i don't think this is a bad thing. my personal belief when it comes to abortion is to minimise the harm where lives are at risk. for example, in the cases where the mother or child's life is
happy birthday angel!!! sound like you've had a loverly day and i hope you have a great night and year to come!!
toblerone -- your name at least unthinspires me daily. thankyou. dharmagrl -- e-zackly. i can't believe women that thin can be portrayed as beautiful by anyone other than those very same people with eating disorders.
Greetings, tout le monde Maybe I'm out of the loop or something, but only today did I stumble across pro-ana and pro-mia websites -- for the uninitiated, web communities helping people become better anorexics and bulimics. I was shocked by what I saw and read... these girls (I didn't see any by guys) and their obsessions with their weight, and th
it's funny, isn't it. i was thinking about it the other day, i remember looking at all of us through high school and wondering where we'd all be in five years time (yeah, five years since we finished school this year... weird enough in itself. and ten years since primary school) and wondering who would end up with who.... but part of me didn't really think people from youth group or high school really would end up together. i thought we'd all move away
Sometimes you have to go out of your way to find something to chuckle about, other times life's quirky joys come to visit you in the comfort of your own office. This is one of the latter. Some may argue the chief of fashion crimes is a visible panty line, others (such as my good friend Champas) cringe at the sight of a miniskirt paired with ugg boots. <B
suz: hey, thanks for coming by! sounds like your time in Paris was bee-yewdiful!! ou, la plus de belle , is probably more appropriate! matthew proposed in february and we are getting married on October 1 this year! i'm soooooo excited!! of course everything here is now a flurry of wedding plans but thankfully it hasn't been too crazy. karma: yes, truth be known i work at a pretty flexible place. as long as i get all my work done, there
