Hmm, I do have an OD subscription. With beta downloads enabled only WindowFX 5 shows up, still no DesktopX 4... No LogonStudio either, I'm guessing because it's a free program? Anyway, thanks for all the help.

I see. But, should I install DesktopX 3 manually from my account for example, SC will display it under installed software and update it when version 4 comes out, correct? Also, would it display beta software under installed software?
Hi, Stardock Central fails to display the following programs for me: DesktopX 3, WindowFX 4, and LogonStudio. Am I to assume the first two don't appear because of future versions being in beta? What about LogonStudio? Thanks.
Hi guys, I was just wondering what are the basic differences/advantages (if any) between using OD's docks to organize your shortcuts vs. doing it through Fences. Do any of you use both? Thanks.
Just purchased Object Desktop+ObjectDock Plus+CursorFX Plus for 44.85$! Trying to figure out which dance is I should do... Thanks Hankers!
I've just looked at Object Desktop and it's listed at 50% off on Stardock, com, as well as most of the other software. However, trying to purchase it through the store reveals a full price?!?!?
But is Impulse still required to update those games? Or are the installers already updated?
Hi guys, I already submitted this question to Stardock support but it seems to be taking a week for them to answer... I was wondering what will happen distribution wise to Stardock games. Software seems to already have migrated off the Impulse platform but the games are still dependent on it. Was planning on dropping Impulse altogether if Stardock will use their small platform for their games as well. Any thoughts?
You mean you got a deal for upgrading after buying WindowBlinds? Sigh, if I could only get ODNT for 40$ ... :)
Hi, I curious whether anyone tried purchasing WindowFX and then upgrading to ODNT, you would save 5$ off the full Object Desktop price :) I realize Stardock isn't particularly good at updating the website so it might not actually work...
One thing though, is the Object Desktop package worth it or should I just go with WindowBlinds/Icon Packager? If ObjectDock was included in OD I'd go for it... I'm assuming you can install individual components of Object Desktop.
Oh, I was actually referring to deleting the Performance style within the Invader skin... but since the whole skin is encrypted I'm assuming deleting individual portions of the skin is also impossible... sigh.
I was just going to say I tried that already and it didn't work... but now it does. I guess you "wizardry" inspired the theme to apply correctly. Invader is encrypted... drats! Nothing can be made to edit the skin? I can't even use the performance version of the skin... Is there a way to delete that by the way? Thanks for all the help, I'm a noob when it comes to Object Desktop and the like. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Ok, I managed to install the Alienware Invader for Windows Vista theme and extracted the skin. Now, it seems to work except for a couple of things. The start button is elevated over the taskbar, probably an incompatibility with Windows 7. Is there a way to fix that? Also, all of the graphical elements (the .bmp images that appear in SkinStudio) are distorted, Any ideas?
I've been scouring the web for the Alienware Invader/Xenomorph skins for Windows Vista/7 to use with WindowBlinds 7. I remember a post saying all Alienware themes were available for WindowBlinds 7 but with no links. I also recall someone doing a Vista compatibility for Xenomorph. Does someone know if any of these themes are available anymore, Vista compatible? I'm not interested in the OEM MyColors themes they have on Alienware.com
I already figured it would be for personal use only, which is fine. At this point I'm only trying to fiddle around with SkinStudio, and from what you're telling me I guess I should get the Bundle that has the Pro version and WindowBlinds. Thanks for the help.
I see, thanks. I'll download the free version of SkinStudio and give it a try.
I've just posted a similar thread and found this topic. I'm also trying to pick individual pieces from different skins and create a combined theme... Would SkinStudio be able to do that?
What the title says, I'm trying to combine features from Alienware Invader and Xenomorph skins... Would it be possible? I have no experience with WindowBlinds or SkinStudio. Thanks.
I own Ultimate Edition and never played DL or DA before, so I noticed the terran colony ship holds 2 Colony ship modules, 4 Basic Supports, 1 Sensors and a Hyperdrive, which goes way beyond the 60 point limit. Funny thing is the description says it only contains 3 BS, 1 CM and a Hyperdrive... I guess the .shipcfg never got updated?
This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to edit a template .xml file and add additional models to those templates? Something like: Ranger, Corvette ?
I own the Ultimate Edition and I'm having trouble with Kryo's guide for custom ship styles and I can't identify the problem. Created the ship style in the game, edited the .xml file and chose UE as a prefix. Changed the .shipcfg files in the shiptemplates folder to something like UE_UD_T_ColonyShip.shipcfg. Then copied these files in GalCiv2/Twilight/Data/ShipCfg and renamed them (ex: UE_ColonyShip.shipcfg). Problem is only 6 templates show up in my game and never with my descriptions for the
