I have mist the first Beta and so I don't know much abut the multiplayermodes. But it would be nice if there will be a mode in witch you get some points you can buy ships and research for. Then one of the teams has to defend the construction side of some sort of doomsday device that will be fully operational in 10 Minutes. The goal of the other team is to destroy it at all cost. There should be some secondary targets (like mines) that will slow down the construction. If all secondary targets are destroyed the timer stops until at least one Mine is reconstructed. No extra supply or backup. Just a quick assault.

Multiplayer beta will be the next beta sometime in august according to the powers that be.

Anyways, what I would like to see is more empire building. Right now I feel like I'm not the emperor, but just a military commander who has control over building naval bases on planets. I want to see things like tax rates, morale, better diplomacy (ie trading more than just resources, perhaps ships too, and planets, the economy and tech treaties idea from GalCivII DA was cool, and more alliances than just ceasefire, intelligence, artifact, and trade, maybe a military alliance where your ally will actually come to your aid and help you conquer new systems). And more ways to win than just being the only faction or team left standing. And make wars more of a big deal. Right now it seems like you are just in a permanent state of war with everyone who doesn't have a ceasefire with you (which makes sense literally speaking, but in sins ceasfire is the only military related treaty).

Also, I would like to see megaships, ships that can turn the tide of a war and are a huge investment to make one.

I agreed with you, some extra diplomacy, one super ship, more cruiser to build and more abundant crystal, because i always run short of it. And.........maybe moons for the planets. ¿How know?.,
