I agree, squard icons is a must, my other point is that the AI shoud be better at taiking advandtage of synergies and abillities.
the advent mothership using malice on 1 target is a prime exampel.
as i said i want player interaction to give a 5-10% boost, atm that is not really the case but more like 50%+ meaning that in a 3+ front situation you will loose as you canot concentrate on any 1 battle, im not saying blabla QQ i cant win 3v1 the point is with the amount of microing doing a 10player 25 stars becomes kinda impossible and you have to go back to lolmap's with 1 star and 80 planets so there are 2-3 choke points at the time as that is pretty much the limit for keeping a decent uptime for abillities on manual
let's say to identical fleets enter battle
there are 5 different outcomes

X defeats Y but suffers catastofic looses and must resive reimforments to continue attacking
Draw
Y defeats X but suffers catastofic looses and must resive reimforments to continue attacking
Y destroys X

Atm the fllet that is microed will utterly destry the 1 that is not, I'd like the AI buffed to a lvl when it only looses marginally
