Pirate Attack Frequency

Forgive me if this has been addressed, but the forum search function seems useless.

Anyway, is it possible to increase the frequency of pirate raids in either forge tools or galaxy forge?

I.E. make pirates launch every 4 minutes instead of 12?

That setting isn't part of the map, but rather the core game. You can do it as a mod, just not on a per-map basis. The setting is in gameplay.constants:

firstWarningTime 900
  normalWarningTime 780
  minSendRaidTime 30
  maxSendRaidTime 90

Basically the first raid is 900 seconds into the game, then they start going at 780 seconds, and you get 30-90 seconds after the warning until the raid actually launches.

humm thanks, so you sure i couldn't stick those strings into a map and have it not explode the game.

  I was looking at increasing the rate at which the Pirates launch too,     But found with maps, i could create custom maps with lots of pirate bases, one i made had 12, haha, boy was i asking for it!!     Anyway, i dont know if it would make them launch quicker, but it certainly gives you more bases to eliminate.  

You can try it if you like, but i'm not certain its what you want. But i thought i would offer it as an idea, if it helps.

I have made some custom maps wit over 40 pirate base, but no alteration of frequency or strength of pirate attacks, and as teal said it means you have more bases to clear

Annatar,

                  Cant you also increase the number of pirates that attack in the gameconstants file also?

I thought i saw it there, but i may be mistaken.
