First and foremost annoying bug is that after going Quit - whilst the various buttons work fine letting me see Credits, Ships destroyed etc - once I press Main the game hangs 5 out of 6 times and the one time it does go back to the main menu (Single Player, Multiplayer, Options etc) it takes 5 minutes or more.
Next bug - Mission failed to complete:
I had to destroy 'X' number of ships of Sarak(?) Warriors - the number had fallen to 4 remaining when I had one of the above freezes when I needed to quit playing for a while. When I restarted game the mission wouldn't complete - even though I killed maybe 20-30 of that race's ships in separate engagements.
Mines:
My scouts in this game (playing TEC) can see mines but neither they nor any other ship can attack them - they still count as invulnerable even though my scouts can see them. This may be a result of above machine hang - I remember captial ship/scout combo's clearing mines fine if slowly in a previous game. I am running version 0.91.002
On the subject of mines some thoughts:
1: Vasari get FAR FAR FAR TOO MANY
I have had to put my machine on low graphics to be able to do anything as some maps have hundreds of mines - I used to be able to run the game fine before entrenchment no matter how big the fleets.
2:
Make scouts see mines at greater range and allow all combat units to attack such mines - Fighters, Bombers, Frigates, Cruisers and Capital ships.
