hi, i promise to make this short, or if not short, then at least spaced so it is readable. 
I've had some ideas that i seem to keep returning to, like levelable crews, which i just had a thought about how to do, like editing the ability names and replacing them, not the descriptions, but the names with Capt. Hardesy, or Admiral Wingate who would add certain things to your ship when you brought them aboard, like better navigation, faster engine speeds, upgraded weapons, etc... it would have to be a mini-mod. The only problem is my ideas get carried way beyond mini, though my file tweaking abilities are noobish at best!! Haha, i have to ask questions of everyone to figure things out!!
But i appreciate everyone helping. Alot. 
and save game editing so i could carry the stats from one game into another map, and one just now, that wouldnt it be nice if the damage took longer to heal? I mean, sure we could lose lots of ships if it was slower, but what if when the battle was done it took like 15 minutes to get back to full health, and my cap is smoking the whole time, limping home on sub-space engines flanked by my bloodied and hull-bent beat up fleet? Haha, that would be a sight, even enjoyable just to see it. 
And WayStations, which is probably just another way of saying the same thing i just said for save games:
I thought the WayStation, might be something at the end of the map, at the very end, where i could drop my save data into a text file and load it in to another map. My attempts at building a campaign style thing with mini-mods instead of an editor, because i cant code or speak Greek either, but i have to try to figure out ways to get there using what i do know. Haha, which isnt much, but i keep my head in the files and learn a little more every day. 
Anyway, thats it, for now. Haha, well, at least until i get another idea!!

p.s. Ooops, forgot my questions, well.. i guess i would ask if anyone can think of a way to do this? Not you know, by re-coding the whole game, but you know, like using what we got now, and changing it around a bit.
