Destras currently use 12 ship slots in beta 1

Hello,

Well, all is in the title, the Advent's Destra crusader now uses 12 ship slots instead of 10. It's probably just an error or a typo in game files, because no change to destras is listed in the 1.2 changelog and nothing else has changed for this unit to my knowledge.

Also, more generally, what do you think about heavy cruisers ? Do you use them in multiplayer ? Do you find them worth the research or not really ? Or bombers crush them too easily and since bombers are not easily countered by fighters because of flak decimating them, you prefer just using something else ?

I don't have a big multiplayer experience so I have no solid opinion about them but I'd just like to know yours, also if it can help balance...

Heavies are nice if your enemy has lots of lrm (and often they do)... but if they have started the bomber spam thing in apperciable numbers... then you prolly need to get some carriers filled with fighters...

When people bomber spam... they often dont have nearly enough flack for their bomber's protection.... and if they do, those flack are not going to generally be near where their bombers are. 

It takes micro... but... its possible.

but thats fighters/bombers.

People dont usually get bombers cause you have heavies. people get bombers cause you have cap ships or starbases.

bombers do hurt heavies though, and if they do have shizztons of bombers, dont invest into heavies....

but if they have lots of lrms... heavies are very, very deadly.

Good job finding that bug though.

Ouch! no way this is a 12 supply unit. Ten is already iffy except for the dps as the hull on this guy is no where compared to TEC or Vasari (1000-1200 less hull per/50supply).
