year 8?? whens it end?

if I wish to end my game by year 8, does that mean I have to finish in december 2234?

I think December 2233 for 8 yrs. At least thats what my fingers tell me.

That depends on how long your fingers are.
If you have worn them to the bone on the keyboard, that will make the years shorter.

i read a post today that said they got a rounded a year less coz it was in december if im not mistakeing, so id say do the last month to be sure

I was under the impression that it got rounded down.... thats why im unsure if you finish in 2234 or 2233

January 1st 2255 to January 1st 2233 would be eight years exactly.
Game rounds down to eight years until December 21st 2233.

What's the deal anyway? Scores are divided by the turn number, not the game year.
