Hi everyone. I've been working on a guide for several days and should be done with it this afternoon. It's a fully annoted graphic guide to tweaks, gameplay options, and help for newbies and even veterans. There are things some of us do that add immensely to the enjoyment of the game, that has become abundantly aparent the majority of people miss... and this seriously hampers how much they enjoy the game.

Expect it later today, and I hope it is useful for everyone.

And hope you saw the IGN review...they were considerably more impressed by the campaign this time around (than the campaign in Dreadlords)! It's always nice to know that your hard work has paid off

Thanks. Wow that makes me feel really good. I put so much time into it! I wonder if they noticed most of the campaign maps were based on real star systems?


note - I'll be posting this a little later than this afternoon. It's becoming kind of a big monster.

Oh crap. The board just ate my long reply.

I'm still working on the guide. It's highly visual so I might have to do it on my website (not sure this forum will do the screens right).

Ironically this guide is just as much for me as everyone else, so I don't keep forgetting things.

Cari, you can use any part of it you'd like for the wiki. Also, did you get my e-mail from earlier today?

Well, I was up all night, and I'm not even half done yet! Ughh, I've been up over 26 hours now, and I need some sleep. But hopefully what I have completed will be helpful to some while I compile the rest (the most important stuff is yet to come).

Until then here it is! (and please be kind, I'm not a web designer, so I'm stretching my paltry web skills to their limit)
