Oh my god! It finnaly has a release date. Over....2 years or so of being pushed back. I should have been out by this time last year if it hadn't been pushed back. Ah well its gonna be great. Don't know if i'll be able to stop playing sins though.

The cartoony graphics are necessary to appeal to teenage girls, who are the mainstay of Will Wright's previous games The Sims and The Sims 2. Will figures if the game isn't "cute" girls and women won't play. He's right. My wife is a Sims 2 fanatic, but I find the game a bit boring. The only part I like is building houses and shopping malls, but I can do without the diaper changing.

guys, i wouldnt argue or worry or flame each other over spores release date. Until you see it on the publishers site (release date) then everything else is hot air.

the latest vid WWW Link shows quite a bit of improvements to the game, whenever it comes out it will be worth the wait.

Just try and forget about Spore for now guys it really speeds things up if your not constantly sitting thier and waiting :) Play Sins and lets just pray Spore comes out before The sun goes out.

I'm going to do a mass upgrade to my machine during the summer, just so I can run Spore without a hitch. If it's even 1/4th as good as I think it will be, it's going to be the greatest game ever made (For me, anyways, your miles may vary I suppose. I can picture some not liking the game).

Mrph. Plenty of time for them to slip yet...

I think I'm going to hold off on this one, just because the hype machine has been on ludicrous speed on this game for quite some time. We'll see what the reviewers say after it's out.
