If I remember correctly, they announced a launch date about 4 times so far, and each time they have "something" has happened and they've had to put the date back.

I really doubt it'll ever be out tbh. It's like the modern Day DNF...

actully, it was originally supposed to be released last november, so the release date already has been pushed back, but I thought it was coming out THIS november, so apparently it got pushed back again. Can't wait to play though!

I have a feelign that spore will be like an old game call Sim Earth. Instead of evolving a planet, you evolve celluar organisms, so it is like The Sims with Sims Earth combined, except it is with cells. oh you get to go to space.

Spore being delayed so many times and yet again there are rumors it might even not hit the market till late 2008 feels like it being buggy and crappy as hell right now.

Spore is coming out this year, EA knows that if it doesnt this year will be the point when interest in the game wanes.

Remember who is publishing this game. Disappointments are to be expected. I expect the full game to come out for another $50 a year after the release date of this half I hope I'm wrong.

I don't think Spore will be much like Sins of a Solar Empire at all. I could be wrong but there isn't much combat in Spore is there? Seems like more of a SimCity type game?
