1. If you leave your game accidentally running overnight, be prepared to have been soundly abused in your absence.
Nice thing about this though, is if you aren't completely destroyed you have the potential to have a large reserve when you discover that you've been an idiot.

This was the byproduct of #1. Total running time of this game was about 20 hours.
3. I'm sure someone else has pointed this one out, but why if there are only two players in a large map do both of them almost always start in the same system?

4. Given that there's still ~155 days left of dev/test time this is well on its way to becoming my favorite of this class. And I've been playing this class of game since SSI was a big name in the Apple ][e world.
