Crysis

Crysis

So.. has anyone else who played the SP demo just found a spot with a lot of trees and tried to recreate the Predator scene with Mac just mowing down a bunch of them with a minigun? Granted we don't get a minigun in Crysis (well, not as a conventional weapon anyway ) but using the hummer-mounted 50 cal works just as well

The game's going to be awesome

Multi, I don't think it was a bad ending by far.. it's perfect for setting up a sequel or expansion. Makes me think of this as a 'chapter' in a greater story, which is awesome.

As ive said before its like reading a book and suddenly someone takes it away.
Or watching a movie in the cinema and you gotta leave.
Thats how i feel as it just ended as a surprise, and i was expecting the story to have some real ending.

I was like cool now i get back to that *spoiler* to finish it off for good and try my new cool *spoiler* then the credits came up and i was soo irritated beyond recognition
So i watched the entire credits just in the hope that it was some bad joke, but sadly it wasn't

What i can accept is an ending, WHERE you see something that might lead to an expansion or sequel, but this is just BS (sorry) and smells just of greedyness to the extreme.

Not to say the game wasn't fun, because it really was, the AI still sucks but it has some new nice twists you gotta learn, like when they seek you out if you gets discovered. And the graphic's are just cool.

You're mad Play on Delta!

And yeah, that is how the story ended.. but instead of leaving us thinking "I wonder if there'll be an expansion or something", we pretty much know for sure that there will be, and another Crysis game is great in my book

Also since i got so irritated might be because that the story was so great
Still moody about it though, but if they announced that you could continued story in a few month, it would help alot. But if i have to wait a year to finish my "book" i will be continue to be sad about it.

As you said yourself the difficulty doesn't change there hitpoints or cleverness, just removes things for the player.
Well the word "sucks" might not be the right word i dunno, but ive seen alot of bugs though.
Like when they have problems with path finding.
Your allies kills you.
They drive over you with a tank or that they dont know how to go around you and pushes you instead, happens as a person and in tanks.
Some times the enemy AI just stands still and is a easy target.

Missing the crosshair or grenade warnings makes for a lot of fun

I've seen some vehicles have pathfinding problems in tight spots, but infantry for me were damn clever and kept trying to surround me and flank me.

I did get a tank shooting my tank in the rear armor, that wasn't nice.

But yeah, I hope it won't be a whole year until we see an expansion, but even if it is I'm sure Crytek will make it worth the wait. Crytek is the strangest game developer. They have only 2 games now, and both were complete hits and were pretty revolutionary.

You know, that could be used to describe Blizzard, once upon a time...

Their games are still hits (even though they don't usually add anything new to their genres). Starcraft 2 is going to sell extremely well if nothing else than for 2 reasons: 1) It's Blizzard, 2) It's Starcraft.

It won't be anything new and revolutionary, but then that's not really what they're trying for either. They basically want to recreate the old Starcraft experience, with a few new additions/tweaks, and I'm pretty sure they'll be able to do that.

But I'm going off on a tangent here

No to mention ignoring my point

Then I probably missed the point you were trying to make
