Geting the Beta

I read on the Pre-Order FAQ that people who pre-order the game can only get the beta during the time that it initially opens. Since the game is currently in the middle of a beta stage, is it still possible for me to get the beta if I pre-order today?

and after you pre-ordered, download the game with Stardock Central.
